So what do you do while you wait for your turn to see the doctor?
Me? Simple, as I take photos :)
Especially if there are lovely views to be seen through the large windows in the consulting rooms.
Not for me to sit among a crowd of sickly waiting patients and having to listen to their moans, groans and coughs, as the views are much greater company. At least the views don't moan and they take my mind to nice places.
The receptionist knows me already and she allows me to roam freely along the windows with my camera.
A funny thing happened at my first visit, as when I took my camera out of its bag, a hush fell over the waiting patients as they must have thought that I was going to take photos of them. The ladies started to touch their hair and the gents sat upright pulling at their shirt and jacket collars.
Then I walked away with the camera and the whispers started:)
Any case come and see what I got.
I took the first 3 photos through window 1. Facing north.
Window 2. Below and I took 3 photos. Then I was called to see the doctor.
But it didn't end there, as after my appointment I took the last two photos through window 3 facing south.
So it was good news all round, as the doctor was happy with my progress, and I was happy with the photos. Health turns into pain as one ages as all kinds of strange things start to happen. All of the reckless things that I did as a youngster are now starting to take their revenge, just as I have my revenge with my children who now have their own children :)
The ankle that I hurt in a rugby game, forgotten years ago is now acting up and the hands that I used in my boxing days of yore have now started to make my fingers pain. No, I am not moaning as I know that I am getting what I deserve, but still, they are not very pleasant experiences.
So if you are a youngster now please take care of your body, because if you don't, then you will remember what I told you today :)
I hope that you have enjoyed the photos and the story.
And That's All Friends.
