Building sand castles to earn a living and feed his family.
More than a week to build this intricate sand castle and we had to wait as there were people with cameras all over.
A cold day at 20C with a sniping wind blowing, but that didn't stop us from a quick walk on the beach. Much to be seen in the bird department (for another post), but first I want to show you the art of of this guy.
He is very talented and he situated the artwork just beyond the high water mark. Let's just hope that the wind doesn't change direction and start blowing from the ocean direction, as then this art piece will be smashed by the waves.
It is the story of Easter depicted here and this guy knows how to pick his topics, as it is now the Easter long weekend here. So he knows that there will be many visitors from inland and also tourists descending on our famous beaches.
Tips galore is what we wish for him, as his work is excellent.
This is our favorite deserted part of the beach and as you can see the shallows are cluttered by razor sharp rocks, so no swimming is allowed.
Today is Good Friday, a public holiday and most of the shops are closed for the day. At the popular part of the beach where this guy was working there were people, but due to the cold wind, the normal rush to the beach did not happen. Maybe tomorrow it will be better weather and the rush will start.
We don't visit this part of the beach, as I only stopped to take photos of his art.
I hope that you enjoyed his talent.
And That's All Friends.
