Marriages are made in heaven

I never wanted to marry a girl who would wear spectacles, but when I went to see her, she was not wearing and I forgot to ask, she never thought that I have such reservation. She is an Engineer and wanted to do a job, but I wanted a housewife. She did not tell me that she wanted to do a job but she told to my father. My father did not think, that he should tell me that, rather he thought, we can discuss after marriage. Had she told me and insisted on doing a job, I would have said NO. But all that did not happen and we were destined to be together and since then twenty years have passed, and still counting on...isn't all this per-destined ?

We both managed to deal with several problems of our joint families, that came across our path in these twenty years. At times, it tend to affect our relationship, but then conscious effort, commitment to each other and adaptability to situation has helped us come this far. Growing the two beautiful gifts (kids) that God has given us, has motivated to keep aside all the problems that comes our way.

To make two decades of our togetherness special, she wanted to buy some Gold Ornaments - every time she goes to buy, she says this would be the last, but that never happens. Last time she took away all my Bonus, but later I was thankful because Gold price has almost doubled since then. Ladies of India collectively have more gold than the Reserve Bank - the best asset in times of risk.

She always seeks my help in choosing the right one that would go well on her and after understanding her requirement, it did not take much time for me to find out. A second opinion was sought from our kids and they both said YES - now we have more confidence.

All set and even the card was given for the payment, and unfortunately the transaction was declined because of the limit on transaction amount. Just then she came back and said I want a little change - thank God, that payment did not go through.

So she preferred to bring that beautiful black bangle, the cost was double, but she knew it will be granted.

Coming back she was looking at another necklace - you said this was last ? No, I was just seeing it.....

A lot of work in the day (duty never ends), so we decided to celebrate in the afternoon, kids have booked the movie "Jurassic World: Rebirth" and a dinner at a restaurant - now they plan how we celebrate.....More to come on that....
