You asked for it, now you will all get to know how Sunscape became the nickname that I use for my online profiles.
February 2016
As many know, I am an avid gardener and have been for the majority of my life. About 25 years ago my husband and I started a plant nursery business from our home. Growing many of the plants from seed and nurturing them for 1-2 years until they were mature enough to sell.
At some point in the process, I started surrounding our entire home with flower gardens. One of my favorite flowers at that time was Sunscape Daisies. Now, you can begin to get the picture, right?
Customers coming to our home loved all the flowers that brightened up our landscape. They were always inspired by the beauty of so many wonderful, colorful beauties greeting them upon their arrival. I can not even begin to count how many people I have helped to create their own magical gardens to enjoy.
When I started blogging way back in the day, I needed an online name of course. What better name than my favorite flower, the "Sunscape" Daisy that always Sun-scaped my home and the hearts of so many customers.
Fast Forward to 2022
Here I am today, albeit sporting some gray hair now, I'm still Sun. Scape. Ing others days the best way I know-how. Sharing from my heart through photography, gardening, animals, cooking, and of course inspiring others to live a positive life.
I hope you have enjoyed my little back-story on picking my nickname. I look forward to sharing with everyone in the community some inspiring posts, well at least I hope they inspire you.
