From what I can gather by way of this, get to know your neighbor platform we call #hive, the gentleman who invited me to share a beer story with y'all seems like a really good guy and a community fellow at that. If he's not showering us with his knowledge of beer, he's showering his hometown community with his helpful actions.
Anyone who appreciates a BEER and is an active member on hive, probably knows this fellow, @zekepickleman.
He's one of the first characters that I met several years ago when hive was yet to be alive. Guess how this far-away relationship manifested? If you guessed BEER, you'd be correct.

he invited me to share a story of mine.
The story I'm about to tell is a rather sad one,
one that I hope to rectify in the very near future.
Back in the day, when hops were in abundance and on display,
Back in the day, when the vines seemed to grow several feet every day.
Back in the day, when harvesting them was like play!
Back in the day, when I would make the most of a #DIY OAST.
Back in the day, when the soporific effects of the flower, would show its power.
Back in the day, when the smell of the boiling wort would help you get all out of sort.
Back in the day, when all of this gear was not placed in the rear.
Back in the day, when it was time to bottle, wanting to push down the throttle
Back in the day, when other hands were needed and always appreciated.
Back in the day, when anticipation and patience were more like a drill and not a skill.
Back in the day, when valuable notes would come into play.
That's my sad story that I've put on display, but with HOPS HOPES of resolving that issue one very near day.
I'm not a big fan of New Year's Resolutions, but I'm a big fan of doing what you say you are going to do. Since we all know how a couple of good pints of our favorite adult beverage, BEER, may fog our judgment, I'll be making no empty promises as we bring in 2022.
I am a betting man though and I will put the odds at minus 200 that I won't be breaking out the beer gear this coming September.
It took some time learning all that was involved with #homebrewing and bottling a brew that you were proud to share with friends and family.
YOU NEVER KNOW!
