In the previous topic about wings, I already showed this spring stork. I was walking with my daughter and grandson in the vicinity of their country house when I met this long-legged guy with a big beak.

Friends, do you see the dog's ears sticking out? We also had a German Shepherd named Roni, I thought he would run to catch a bird, but he stood and looked around indifferently; he was absolutely not interested in the stork. This dog likes to run after the ball.

Unlike the dog, the stork did not want to stand in one place, but decided to stay away from us and began to make his jumps and spread his wings in an attempt to fly.

The separation from the ground occurred, and the climb commenced. The feathered airplane began its flight.

A heavy big bird, like a large airplane, takes off hard and requires a long runway. For me, the stork is a strange bird, because such interesting birds do not live in our cold region, because they will be cold and hungry.

The stork did not fly far away; he decided to stop at the nearest lighting pole. Still, he didn't feel any threat from us. It seems to me that he has long been accustomed to living here, absolutely not fearing for his life, because there is no man with a gun in this place, and there are no other predators like stray dogs.
Later, I met this feathered giant several more times in this place. I was watching him from the side at a respectful distance so as not to frighten him. I understood that he was collecting materials for building a nest next to the pond.

After standing on the pole for about a minute, the stork decided to continue its flight. Now it was easier for him to take off; he didn't say anything, but squatted down, spread his wings, pushed off, and flew like a loaded cargo plane.

I could have said that he promised to come back, and it would have been romantic, but, of course, the stork flew away in silence, and we watched him go and thought that his Majesty Chance had provided us with a very cool meeting.
