Bird Photography - Little bittern

The little bittern is also one of the birds that I am proud of having it on my list of already photographed birds. Since it is a seldom shy bird that lives in the reeds and shallow water of rivers or lakes. I know the last time when I visited Vienna for taking pictures, I took these pictures of the little bittern and I had to wait several hours in the hot sun for it to show up. But at least I was lucky and I even could get pretty close to it without the bird even noticing my presence, or at least it didn't care about it.

This is also one of the birds that I have marked in my Google Maps coordinates because it can be found at the same spot every year. I have already a nice list of spots for birds that are pretty territorial and live on a very special place and come back to it every year. I like it when animals have an "Address" :-) And a lot ot them really have one in fact and can be found at the exact same spot where I saw it the last time.
