At a spot in Lower Austria where I often take pictures of birds, especially birds of prey I whitnessed a gathering of grey herongs in the meaddow. There are several ponds with fish nearby so they probably gather after filling up their stomaches with fish there. For me it was great because usually you don't find so many of them gathering at one spot. Unfortunately they were a bit far away and I couldn't get closer since walking there on the grass strip between the ponds is not allowed since it is a nature reserve with restricted areas. But of course with a long lens you can try to take some pictures like I did.
