Back in Spring I was lucky that I found a spot where the great crested grebes where building their floating nest together and it was close to a great spot where I could also use the bushes on the edge of the water for a hideout of myself. I sat down there at the shore and watche the birds building their nests. It was a really great experience and I am happy that I could document this procedure with my camera. The pictures turned out really great and I probably showed you already some of them but since I looke through some older pictures today I had to edit some of them to upload them here on hive again. I have to admit that I am really happy with the results. Because it is difficult to find a spot like this and also be there at the right time I am a little bit glad about myself here. I will probably print one of these pictures in Big for a wall in my flat.
