Waders are probably one of my favorite birds since they can come really close when they walk around in the shallow water. And when I ly down at the ground and wait for them to get closer it is easier to get some closeup pictures of them. And when they are in their eating frenzy they get closer to me as long as I try to keep my movement to a minimum. Then lying down on the ground helps me to get in the correct level for this kind of pictures. It is always better to get in the same level than the birds.
