Dreams come easy on a day like today. Day time basking on a breezy patio in the sun sounds good, doesn't it? I wish you could join me cause it really is.
After waking and preparing for a drive up to Garden Grove, my boss called to tell me they cancelled. So I went to the Lab for about a half hour then came back home.
That brings us back to now, the daydream, and the hummingbird.

Hypnotizing is the best way to put it, the way the swaying of all the leaves lulls me into lala land. Eyelids heavy and about to surrender when a drone-like buzzing sounds off right above my head.
This tiny guy (or gal) visits every day, enticed over to our flowers after visiting the feeders next door. He has some friends around too.
Back on high alert from the flurry of activity, I wonder what might happen next? All in the comfort of my own back yard.
Today's work is gone but there's more waiting tomorrow and Friday. No need to worry about it now.
Maybe I'll go on a walk, write about fishing on FishtFight.com, or draft up another HIVE post.
Or maybe I'll dive back into the chair, the sun, the breeze, and the dream. Who knows? The options are endless.....
