Hi Hive Lovers
There are many pets that people choose. One of them is the most popular bird, namely the parrot, which has very beautiful feathers, a crooked beak, and a very loud voice.
I just met this parrot again at my brother's house, who lives outside the city. Actually, I have met this noisy bird several times; our first encounter was 5 years ago, when the bird was only 3 months old. At the time, it was still a baby bird, and at that time, my brother had just started caring for it.
This is the bird's latest appearance at the moment. This parrot looks happy, showing off its beautiful feathers. It shakes its head several times, raises its wings, and moves like dancing left and right. The bird looks like it wants to look beautiful by always cleaning its feathers with its hooked beak. The bird seemed to notice that I was taking photos of it.
The crest is a sign
My brother said that the bird no longer recognized me when I tried to approach it. The bird was alert to me; you could see it from its raised crest.
The crests on parrots are a sign of their mood. When a parrot's crest is raised, it means they are alert and anxious, and they will even act aggressively. Or it could be a sign that they are very excited if they raise their crest while making regular movements like dancing.
On the other hand, when the crest of the elder brother is lowered, it means that they are being submissive and that they only do it to their owner. If their crest looks relaxed and normal, then it is a sign that they are resting and in a contented mood.
Loyal and loving bird
Many people say that they are loyal birds, and their loyalty is not only to their partners; parrots are also able to form very strong bonds with their owners or anyone who cares for them, and that strong bond can last their entire lives.
Parrots have become a top choice for bird lovers due to their affectionate nature, and their appearance due to their beautiful feathers is just a bonus.
Parrots are birds that always expect attention and caresses from their owners; that's why they are known as the most affectionate birds, and they always want to be around people they often meet.
Depressed bird
Parrots are also birds that cannot be left alone for too long by their owners. Parrots are often found dead if they are left alone for a long time, even if their food is still provided.
They are known to be very easy to depress if they feel they are not getting attention or don't feel loved. If they are depressed, they may commit suicide by engaging in self-destructive behavior, such as pulling out their own hair or not eating at all.
Considering their high prices, if they were depressed, then their owners would be depressed too, right?
