They brought with them culture and religion, and within it the Babylonian holy bird - the dove.

I had the opportunity to photograph a wild pigeon that accidentally flew into my yard. The pigeons belong to a family of birds that includes common pigeons, turtledoves, and others. This is a pigeon that was a guest in my yard.
