One more character of mine...
I absolutely love the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland, in both the books and the movies. There was always something about that cat that I adored. When I decided I wanted to cosplay a version of the Cheshire Cat, I wanted to create a similar look, but also make it my own. I was looking for something recognizable, but also eerie.
The cosplay came together pretty easily. For the ears, I found a pair of costume ears that my daughter used a couple of years ago for Halloween. These were actually wolf ears, but oh well. I spray painted them with colored hair spray that I found at my local dollar store. For the makeup, I used Cruise brand makeup, found here.
I used the lights on my ring light to alter the look slightly.
In the video below, you can see more of the blue and green makeup without much altering from the ring light.
I enjoyed the make up look on its own, but I felt like it wasn't creepy enough. So, I used my ring light to change the colors a little bit. In the video below you can see that the makeup is the same but the colors are different.
