In my quest for games that fit my taste, I've been looking into new releases. I found several coming out in August that I want to share with you today—games I'd definitely play if I had the chance. Some lean into nostalgia, others are exciting new ideas, and some are old favorites that might pique your interest too.

En mi afán por encontrar juegos que se adapten a mis gustos estuve buscando nuevos lanzamientos, encontrando que en el mes de agosto hay varios que hoy quiero compartir con ustedes, que son los que si tuviera la oportunidad, sin duda los jugaría. Unos apuestan a la nostalgia, otros son nuevas propuestas interesantes y otros son ya viejos conocidos que pueden que a ti también te interesen.
Delta Force
As a shooter fan, I can't not mention the game that's caught a lot of attention, especially from those tired of Warzone hackers. Delta Force is leaving PC exclusivity and coming to all platforms, meaning crossplay that lets you carry your progress over no matter where you open the game. The big plus here is that it's free-to-play for those of us on a tight budget, and it'll be available starting August 19.
Como fan de los shooter no puedo dejar de mencionar el juego que llamó la atención de muchos, especialmente los que ya estaban cansados de los hackers de Warzone. Delta Force deja la exclusividad de PC y llega a todas las plataformas, esto se traduce en crossplay, permitiendo que tu progreso se cargue en cualquier plataforma que abras el juego. La gran ventaja de este juego es que es free-to-play para quienes tenemos un presupuesto corto y estará disponible a partir del 19 de agosto.

* Sword of the Sea
This game is from the same creators as Journey, and as I mentioned, it plays on nostalgia but with some innovation. I'd definitely give it a try because Journey was the first game I ever played on PlayStation 1, and it was an amazing experience. With this new game, the innovation comes from the character surfing on a sword across sand dunes, exploring long-lost civilizations. I'm sure there'll be some kind of connection to Journey and Abzu. It'll be available starting August 19.
Este juego es de los mismos creadores de Journey, como les decía, apuesta a la nostalgia pero con algo de innovación. Sin duda lo probaría porque el primer juego que jugué en la PlayStation 1 fue Journey y fue una gran experiencia. Con este nuevo juego la innovación se basa en que el personaje surfea sobre una espada por las dunas de arena, explorando las civilizaciones que algunas vez fueron, que seguro habrá algún tipo de conexión con Journey y Abzu. Estará disponible a partir del 19 de agosto.

Gears of War: Reloaded
Knowing this game will be available on all platforms filled me with so much excitement. When it first came out for Xbox, I saw how great it was and regretted not having that console; my finances just didn't allow it. Its story is one of the best I've seen in games of this style, so having the remastered first title in the series is a huge opportunity. New features include 4K resolution up to 120 FPS with crossplay, making it even more appealing. You can get your hands on it starting August 26.
Saber que este juego estará disponible en todas las plataformas me lleno de mucha emoción. Cuando salió para Xbox y vi lo que genial que era, lamente no tener esa consola, los medio no me lo permitían. Su historia es de las mejores que he visto en juegos de este estilo, así que tener la remasterización del primer título de la saga es una gran oportunidad. Entre las novedades que ofrecerá esta la resolución a 4k hasta 120 FPS con crossplay, lo cual lo hace mas atractivo aún para hacerse con el a partir del 26 de agosto.

Metal Gear Solid
For me, the biggest August release is this game. This isn't just a remaster; it's definitely a major remake. The game has practically been redone from scratch, starting with the shift from a top-down view to third-person. The graphics look top-notch but still keep that classic Metal Gear essence. I know some of you familiar with the series might wonder why they're remaking Metal Gear 3 and not 2. Well, the third one is much more beloved by fans because it's a prequel that introduces the character of Big Boss. It's coming to all platforms on August 28.
Para mi el gran lanzamiento de agosto es este juego, este no es remaster definitivamente es un gran remake, prácticamente se hizo el juego nuevamente, empezando porque la vista ya no es cenital sino en tercera persona. Los gráficos se ven top pero manteniendo la esencia de los Metal Gears. Se que algunos que conocen la saga puede que se pregunten porque el remake del Metal Gear 3 y no el 2, bueno el 3 es mucho más querido por los fanáticos porque es una precuela donde se introduce el personaje de Big Boss. Llegara a todas las plataformas el 28 de agosto.

It's worth noting that there are tons of releases in August, but we always focus on what we like most. There are also other options that caught my eye but aren't top priority; however, I'd definitely play them at some point:

| The House of the Dead 2 Remake
A remake of the first game, obviously with improved graphics—another nostalgic hit with this classic.

| Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2
This game has some of the best graphics I've ever seen, and the story is insane in every sense—truly excellent. Its level of realism is astonishing, even on consoles it looks great, and now it'll be available on all platforms, whereas before it was an Xbox exclusive. It's out starting August 12.

| Helldivers 2
This game has been on my radar, but it lost some appeal once Sony's Plus subscription was required for online play. Now that it's coming to Xbox and more people will be playing, it's caught my interest again. It'll be available starting August 26.
