I usually take the time to investigate the most cost-effective option before making a purchase, and buying this new phone was no exception. I researched on the internet the different options Android had to offer, and after reading many articles and checking out many reviews, I decided to buy this phone called Poco X3 Pro. The name of it might sound funny, especially if you are a Spanish speaker because in Spanish "poco" means little, which makes it easy to create jokes about the phone. But the truth to the manner is that this Poco brand is one of the best phones out there for people looking for an optimal price-performance ratio.
I live in Venezuela, and sometimes finding electronic devices with a good price is almost impossible because the resellers tend to overcharge and the official brands have no official presence in the country. This also makes it harder to enjoy a proper guarantee in case a product comes defective. The resellers offer a guarantee but it tends to last only 3 months instead of the regular 1 year.
Anyways, once I decided on the phone I wanted to buy, I started to look for companies selling phones and see if they had this phone at an acceptable price. In the past, I used Mercadolibre for this, but nowadays I believe many businesses, at least in Venezuela, have a more prominent presence on Instagram and not in Mercadolibre. I was able to find several companies, and after comparing their "combos", I ultimately decided on what was the best option in my opinion.
It has gotten very common for many people to sell combos, not only when it comes to phones but also with food. The combo I bought included the phone of course, with a case, a pop socket, and a screen protector. I was happy with everything, and with the price, so I happily bought it and finally had a new phone to use! 🥳🥳
Por lo general, me tomo el tiempo para investigar la opción más rentable antes de realizar una compra, y comprar este nuevo teléfono no fue una excepción. Investigué en Internet las diferentes opciones que Android tenía para ofrecer, y después de leer muchos artículos y revisar muchas reseñas, decidí comprar este teléfono llamado Poco X3 Pro. El nombre puede sonar divertido, especialmente si eres hispanohablante porque en español "poco" significa poco xD, lo que facilita las bromas sobre el teléfono. Pero la verdad es que esta marca Poco es uno de los mejores teléfonos que existen para las personas que buscan una relación precio-rendimiento óptima.
Yo vivo en Venezuela y a veces encontrar aparatos electrónicos a buen precio es casi imposible porque los revendedores suelen cobrar de más y las marcas oficiales no tienen presencia oficial en el país. Esto también hace que sea más difícil disfrutar de una garantía adecuada en caso de que un producto llegue defectuoso. Los revendedores ofrecen una garantía, pero tiende a durar solo 3 meses en lugar del 1 año habitual.
De todos modos, una vez que decidí qué teléfono quería comprar, comencé a buscar compañías que vendieran teléfonos y ver si tenían este teléfono a un precio aceptable. En el pasado, usaba Mercadolibre para esto, pero hoy en día creo que muchas empresas, al menos en Venezuela, tienen una presencia más destacada en Instagram y no en Mercadolibre. Pude encontrar varias compañías, y después de comparar sus "combos", finalmente decidí cuál era la mejor opción en mi opinión.
Se ha vuelto muy común que muchas personas vendan combos, no solo cuando se trata de teléfonos sino también con comida. El combo que compré incluía el teléfono, por supuesto, con un forro, pop socket y un protector de pantalla. Estaba contento con todo y con el precio, así que felizmente lo compré y ¡finalmente tenía un nuevo teléfono para usar! 🥳🥳
Design
The phone is giant, much larger than what I am used to. The screen is 6.67 inches large, it is an LCD which means the type of blacks it produces aren't as good compared to OLED displays but that's OK for me because my main goal wasn't having the best colors possible, but having a durable and affordable phone with a good general performance.
The back part of the phone is made of plastic and it comes in several colors but there was only 1 color available when I went to the store to buy it. It was in fact, the only Poco X3 Pro they had available that day, so I guess I was a bit lucky with that. I haven't really touched the back part of the phone too much because as mentioned above, the combo included the phone case so I immediately put the phone inside the case in order to protect it. And the first time I take the phone out of the case was to take pictures for this post.
The cameras, as we can see in the pictures, look like a circle and I guess they combine with the pop socket I have glued to the phone case haha. I think the design is quite nice, and so far this is the only phone I have seen with all the back cameras inside a circle, the most common design is to use a square I believe.
Diseño
El teléfono es gigante, mucho más grande de lo que estoy acostumbrado. La pantalla mide 6,67 pulgadas, es LCD, lo que significa que el tipo de negros que produce no es tan bueno en comparación con las pantallas OLED, pero está bien para mí porque mi objetivo principal no era tener los mejores colores posibles, sino tener un teléfono con vida útil duradera y que sea asequible con un buen rendimiento general.
La parte trasera del teléfono es de plástico y viene en varios colores pero solo había 1 color disponible cuando fui a la tienda a comprarlo. De hecho, era el único Poco X3 Pro que tenían disponible ese día, así que supongo que tuve un poco de suerte con eso. Realmente no he tocado demasiado la parte posterior del teléfono porque, como se mencionó anteriormente, el combo incluía la carcasa del teléfono, así que inmediatamente puse el teléfono dentro de la carcasa para protegerlo. Y la primera vez que saqué el móvil de la funda fue para hacer fotos para este post.
Las cámaras, como podemos ver en las fotos, parecen un círculo y supongo que se combinan con el pop socket que he pegado a la carcasa del teléfono jajajaa. Creo que el diseño es bastante bueno, y hasta ahora este es el único teléfono que he visto con todas las cámaras traseras dentro de un círculo, creo que el diseño más común es usar un cuadrado.

Performance
The performance is crazy, it is actually considered a gaming phone, and even though I have played games with it a few times, I didn't buy it with the intention of playing with it. It loads every website even faster than my laptop, and I am very amazed by the speed it has when doing pretty much everything. The phone is super fast and it has become my main device for exploring the internet and working.
It has 8GB of ram, which allows it to have many different applications opened at the same time, without suffering from any reloading when a particular app is brought back to be used again. The memory of the phone is 256Gb, which is more than 4 times what my previous phone had and I really don't know what I will do with so much memory but I have been taking a lot of pictures lately and will probably be sharing some of them soon. Either way, I am happy with so much memory and not being worried about having my memory full. The phone also accepts SD cards so it could be easily expanded if necessary.
The processor of the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 from 2019 and it handles everything perfectly for me, I cannot even imagine the speed how newer processors, this one works pretty much instantly with everything I have tried.
Rendimiento
El rendimiento es una locura, en realidad es considerado un teléfono para juegos, y aunque he jugado con él un par de veces, no lo compré con la intención de jugar con él. Carga todos los sitios web incluso más rápido que mi computadora portátil, y estoy muy sorprendido por la velocidad que tiene cuando hace casi todo. El teléfono es súper rápido y se ha convertido en mi dispositivo principal para explorar Internet y trabajar.
Tiene 8 GB de RAM, lo que le permite tener muchas aplicaciones diferentes abiertas al mismo tiempo, sin sufrir problema alguno cuando abro de nuevo una aplicación en particular para volver a usarla. La memoria del teléfono es de 256Gb, que es más de 4 veces lo que tenía mi teléfono anterior y realmente no sé qué haré con tanta memoria, pero he estado tomando muchas fotos últimamente y probablemente compartiré algunas de ellas pronto. De cualquier manera, estoy feliz con tanta memoria y no me preocupa tener la memoria llena. El teléfono también acepta tarjetas SD, por lo que podría expandirse fácilmente si fuera necesario.
El procesador del teléfono es el Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 de 2019 y maneja todo a la perfección para mí, ni siquiera puedo imaginar la velocidad de los procesadores más nuevos, este funciona casi instantáneamente con todo lo que he probado.
Battery life
The battery life, coming from a phone with an almost unusable battery is mind-blowing. It can easily last more than a day depending on how much I used it, and what's even better is that it charges super fast. In less than 30 minutes I can have the phone with the batter almost full. Now, I read online that charging the battery extremely fast isn't good for the physical health of the batteries but sadly, this phone doesn't have the option to deactivate the super fast charge mode.
The battery has a capacity of 5160 mAh, which is among the best ones in the industry, and it removes a lot of stress in our day-to-day activities to not have to worry about recharging our phone in the middle of our days. With this Poco phone, I have the confidence it can last not only a complete day, but sometimes even more, and this is absolutely great.
Something to keep in mind is that I mostly use my phone indoors, which means I don't need high brightness on the screen, with more outdoor use I am sure the battery would last less.
Duración de la batería
La duración de la batería, proveniente de un teléfono con una batería casi inutilizable, es espectacular. Puede durar fácilmente más de un día dependiendo de cuánto lo use, y lo que es aún mejor es que se carga súper rápido. En menos de 30 minutos puedo tener el teléfono con la batería casi llena. Ahora, leí en línea que cargar la batería extremadamente rápido no es bueno para la salud física de las baterías pero, lamentablemente, este teléfono no tiene la opción de desactivar el modo de carga súper rápida.
La batería tiene una capacidad de 5160 mAh, que está entre las mejores de la industria, y nos quita mucho estrés en nuestro día a día para no tener que preocuparnos por recargar nuestro teléfono en la mitad del día. Con este teléfono Poco, tengo la confianza de que puede durar no solo un día completo, sino a veces incluso más, y esto es absolutamente genial.
Algo a tener en cuenta es que principalmente uso mi teléfono en interiores, lo que significa que no necesito un brillo alto en la pantalla, con más uso en exteriores estoy seguro de que la batería duraría menos.

I am not a professional photographer or anything like that, but I certainly enjoy being able to take high-quality photos and videos from time to time. Having so many cameras allows the phone to easily zoom in or out while taking a picture. The camera app even has an option called "PRO" with a bunch of different settings such as "ISO AUTO" or "WB AUTO" that I don't really understand but I know many photographers would be able to make good use of them.
Here are some pictures I took of the garden. The first picture is with normal zoom, then the second one is with 5x zoom, the third one with 10x zoom and the last one is with the 48MP option, which is the biggest picture with the best quality.

No soy un fotógrafo profesional ni nada por el estilo, pero ciertamente disfruto poder tomar fotos y videos de alta calidad de vez en cuando. Tener tantas cámaras permite que el teléfono haga zoomfácilmente mientras toma una foto. La aplicación de la cámara incluso tiene una opción llamada "PRO" con un montón de configuraciones diferentes, como "ISO AUTO" o "WB AUTO" que realmente no entiendo, pero sé que muchos fotógrafos podrían hacer un buen uso de ellas.
Aquí hay algunas fotos que tomé del jardín. La primera imagen es con zoom normal, luego la segunda es con zoom 5x, la tercera con zoom 10x y la última es con la opción de 48MP, que es la imagen más grande con la mejor calidad.

Conclusion
I couldn't be happier with this phone, it was an amazing purchase and I am so happy to finally have a fast phone that allows me to do pretty much everything I need with it.
This model is from last year, so in case you are looking for a new phone with a good price-performance ratio right now, I would wait for newer POCO models to come out and buy one of those. I believe the POCO X4 was released a few weeks ago, so looking for that one might be a good choice.
Of all the different Asian brands, I have to say my favorite one is POCO, I believe this brand gives you better phones while charging the same price and sometimes even less than other brands. So if mid-range smartphones are what you are looking for, POCO is the way to go if you ask me.

No podría estar más feliz con este teléfono, fue una compra increíble y estoy muy feliz de tener finalmente un teléfono rápido que me permite hacer casi todo lo que necesito con él.
Este modelo es del año pasado, por lo que en caso de que estéss buscando un teléfono nuevo con una buena relación precio-rendimiento en este moment, yo esperaría a que salgan los modelos POCO más nuevos y comprar uno de esos. Creo que el POCO X4 se lanzó hace unas semanas, por lo que buscarlo podría ser una buena opción.
De todas las diferentes marcas asiáticas, tengo que decir que mi favorita es POCO, creo que esta marca te ofrece mejores teléfonos al mismo precio y, a veces, incluso menos que otras marcas. Entonces, si lo que estáss buscando son teléfonos inteligentes de gama media, POCO es la mejor opción si me preguntas.
