¡Gente bonita! Espero estén bien, el día de hoy quería hablarles de una curiosidad que tuve hace unas semanas, como conozco tanto de este tema y mencionar algunos de estos tipos de juegos. En mi vida he visto millones de películas, series y todas, cuando tenía TV, me marcaron de alguna manera tanto que cuando empecé a tener mis primeras consolas de videojuegos tener juego sobre esas series y películas me parecían una locura.
Beautiful people! I hope you are well, today I wanted to talk to you about a curiosity I had a few weeks ago, as I know so much about this topic and mention some of these types of games. In my life I have seen millions of movies, series and all of them, when I had TV, they marked me in some way so much that when I started to have my first video game consoles to have games about those series and movies seemed crazy to me.
Tanto me gustaba tener juegos así, que sagas que hoy en día conozco, me encantan y son famosísimas porque son todo lo contrario, originales de una idea para videojuego que quieren llevar a la pantalla grande, apenas las estoy jugando en estos últimos 10 años de mi vida y no en mi infancia. Yo igual jugué muy feliz y por eso quisiera traerles este post hablando un poco de juegos de series y películas que me marcaron.
I liked having games like that so much, that sagas that today I know, I love and are very famous because they are the opposite, originals of an idea for a video game that they want to take to the big screen, I'm just playing them in these last 10 years of my life and not in my childhood. I still played them very happily and that's why I would like to bring you this post talking a little bit about games from series and movies that marked me.
Dexter’s Laboratory: Mandark’s
Este juego para PlayStation 1 y la verdad uno de los que más me entretuvo y hasta llegó a asustarme un poco. La trama súper sencilla, un capítulo que inventaron para el juego pero que las misiones era sobre capítulos que ya existían. Desde niveles donde había que seguir el ritmo, juegos como descubrir dónde estaban los marcianos, hasta una especie de jueguito espacial de destruir todo a su paso.
This game for PlayStation 1 and the truth is one of those that entertained me the most and even scared me a little. The plot was super simple, a chapter that was invented for the game but the missions were about chapters that already existed. From levels where you had to follow the rhythm, games like discovering where the Martians were, to a kind of space game of destroying everything in its path.
Lo que más amé de este juego era la mezcla de animación 2D y 3D pues todo el juego cuando yo estaba paseando era 3D, pero cada vez que entraba a una misión siempre había venía acompañada con una cinemática bien divertida de todo el capítulo inventado para este juego. Recuerdo que como esa la época que no tenía Memory Card tenía que jugar con bastante concentración pues no tenía otra oportunidad y el juego terminó gustando tanto que lo repetía demasiado.
What I loved most about this game was the mix of 2D and 3D animation because the whole game when I was walking around was 3D, but every time I entered a mission it was always accompanied with a very funny cinematic of the whole chapter invented for this game. I remember that since I didn't have a Memory Card at the time I had to play with a lot of concentration, I didn't have another chance and I ended up liking the game so much that I repeated it too much.
Shrek the Third
De verdad he jugado muchísimos juegos de Shrek desde la Play 1 como la Play 2 y la verdad es que todos son muy entretenidos, pero sinceramente esta es el que más he quemado y jugado mil y un veces. Lo que me parece cómico es que, en realidad, desde mi punto de vista, de las 4 películas de Shrek la 1era y la 2da son las mejores para mí, pero porque la vida es extraña en realidad la película que más veces yo he visto es la 3 muchísimas veces, todo es por vivir la mayoría de mis 10 y 11 años con mis abuelos y mi prima, que ella ponía mucho las películas que tenía en DVD y esa era una que, aunque la viera o no le ponía muchísimas veces y yo me la aprendí.
I have really played a lot of Shrek games from the Play 1 and Play 2 and the truth is that they are all very entertaining, but honestly this is the one that I have burned and played a thousand and one times. What I find funny is that, actually, from my point of view, of the 4 Shrek movies the 1st and 2nd are the best for me, but because life is strange in reality the movie that I have seen the most times is the 3rd many times, everything is because I lived most of my 10 and 11 years with my grandparents and my cousin, she played a lot the movies she had on DVD and that was one that, whether I saw it or not she played it many times and I learned it.
Por casualidad mi padre me regalo su juego para PlayStation 2 y la verdad es que me encantó, esa película como tal no me entretiene o tiene menos momentos icónicos como las primeras dos, pero el juego para mí me pareció muchísimo más entretenido. Esta es más simple pues sigue la historia de la película al pelo y haces misiones complementando lo que pasa en la película. Mi parte favorita del juego es cuando aparece la parte de la película donde todas las princesas, menos Rapunzel las colocan en prisión para que el Príncipe encantador pueda matar a Shrek y así ser rey de todo, entonces estas princesas se escapan, y de verdad poco a poco vas siendo cada una de las princesas para que con sus poderes especiales acabar con todo y pasar. De verdad que buen juego mucho mejor que la película.
By chance my father gave me his PlayStation 2 game and the truth is that I loved it, that movie as such does not entertain me or has less iconic moments as the first two, but the game for me I found it much more entertaining. This one is simpler because it follows the story of the movie and you do missions complementing what happens in the movie. My favorite part of the game is when the part of the movie appears where all the princesses, except Rapunzel are placed in prison so that Prince Charming can kill Shrek and thus be king of everything, then these princesses escape, and really little by little you are each of the princesses so that with their special powers to end everything and pass. Really good game much better than the movie.
Rey León / Tarzan / Hércules
Quiero meter estos juntos porque de verdad los jugué demasiado, pero eran tan cortos y simples que no hay mucho que contar más que si viste estas tres películas entonces sabes más o menos la trama que tienen los juegos. Los tres lo jugué en Play 1 y eran de tipo plataformero donde en realidad tenías varios mundos siempre recorriéndolos llevándote sus “monedas” e intentando completar las fichas especiales que hay en cada mapa de juego.
I want to put these together because I really played them too much, but they were so short and simple that there is not much to tell but if you saw these three movies then you know more or less the plot of the games. All three I played on Play 1 and they were platformer type games where you actually had several worlds always going through them taking their “coins” and trying to complete the special tiles that are in each game map.
Este tipo de juegos siempre me entretenían y me daban mucha adrenalina porque aparte de tratar de no perder vidas, el intentar obtener todos los puntos y las fichas especiales era difícil y te obligaba a estar más pendiente o repetir en nivel mil veces, ignorando un poco el modo historia. Entretienen mucho esto tipos de juego y aunque eran el mismo estilo no tenían los mismos gráficos, cada uno era como un estilo diferente. El Rey león era más simple y clásico, todo 2d y dependiendo del escenario no se iba mucho de los colores de una sábana. En Tarzan todo era más 3D con tantos colores por el bosque que de verdad tenías que estar muy pendiente y el de Hércules muchos colores, no pasaba del 2d y, pero todo era tan colorido como su película que de verdad tenías que estar muy atento.
This kind of games always entertained me and gave me a lot of adrenaline because apart from trying not to lose lives, trying to get all the points and special tokens was difficult and forced you to be more aware or repeat the level a thousand times, ignoring a little the story mode. These types of games were very entertaining and although they were the same style they didn't have the same graphics, each one was like a different style. The Lion King was simpler and more classic, all 2d and depending on the scenery it didn't go too far from the colors of a sheet. In Tarzan everything was more 3D with so many colors in the forest that you really had to be very attentive and the Hercules game was very colorful, but everything was so colorful like his movie that you really had to be very attentive.
Yo ya he hablado de otros juegos de mi infancia de series y películas, como de Tom y Jerry y la Saga de Harry Potter, no quise meter estos juegos en este post porque ya he hablado de ellos más bien mucho y no quiero repetirme sino más bien mostrar que a parte de esos que amé y jugué hasta el cansancio mis recuerdos tienen otros más de muchas películas y series increíbles. Tengo que hacerle segunda parte a este post porque también quiero mencionar juegos como Ratatouille, Wall-e y así, espero les haya gustado este.

I have already talked about other games from my childhood from series and movies, like Tom and Jerry and the Harry Potter Saga, I didn't want to include these games in this post because I have already talked about them a lot and I don't want to repeat myself but rather show that apart from those that I loved and played until I got tired my memories have many other games from many incredible movies and series. I have to make a second part to this post because I also want to mention games like Ratatouille, Wall-e and so on, I hope you liked this one.
