Espero estén muy bien, la verdad, este post no estaba muy animada a hacerlo porque no sé si es por mi estado de ánimo últimamente, la verdad todo el mes pasado y este no he tenido muchas ganas de contar mis historias ni de hacer catarsis, las últimas que he hecho han sido como importantes y bueno, pensar en historias sobre videojuegos la verdad solo pensé en malas o poco interesantes. Ya pasando el rato recordé varias así sean pequeñas que bueno me animo a mostrarles por acá, la segunda historia tiene mucha catarsis la verdad así que si no la quieres leer te entiendo, la primera y la tercera son bien normales y chéveres te invito a si pegarles el ojo.

Cuando tuve mi PS1, tenía muchos juegos con los que me obsesioné increíblemente, solamente que jamás podía como conocer mucho como terminaban porque no tenía un Memory Card para guardar lo que estaba haciendo y así más tarde u otro día lograr adelantar más hasta terminar el juego. Con House Trap, un juego de Tom y Jerry no sufría eso pues, aunque creo que podía subir de nivel y desbloquear nuevas cosas si le dedicaba más, yo amaba y me entretenía tanto, que simplemente no me recordaba mi falta de Memory.
When I had my PS1, I had many games that I became incredibly obsessed with, only I could never really know how they ended because I didn't have a Memory Card to save what I was doing so that later or another day I could get further ahead until I finished the game. With House Trap, a Tom and Jerry game I didn't suffer from that because, although I think I could level up and unlock new things if I dedicated more time to it, I loved it and was so entertained, that it simply didn't remind me of my lack of Memory.
Jugué tanto ese juego que lo dañe, rayé el disco dentro de la consola por tanto uso y le deje una mancha algo grande al disco que hizo que ya no lo pudiera utilizar más, cuando vi esa mancha y que el juego ya no funcionaba me puse a llorar horrible, tanto que le dije a mi papá, que era quien me compraba los juegos de vez en cuando, que no quería ninguno nuevo, que quería que me consiguiera una vez más este juego de Tom y Jerry, le di el disco con la carcasa para que no se equivocara y allí empezó esa aventura.
I played that game so much that I damaged it, I scratched the disc inside the console because of so much use and I left a big stain on the disc that made that I could not use it anymore, when I saw that stain and that the game no longer worked I started to cry horribly, so much that I told my dad, who was the one who bought me the games from time to time, that I did not want any new one, I wanted him to get me one more time this Tom and Jerry game, I gave him the disc with the case so he would not make a mistake and that was the beginning of that adventure.
Recuerdo que era como 1 vez al mes que mi papá se ponía con el tema de mis juegos de PS1, tanto por dinero como por tiempo, entonces como yo sabía que el siguiente mes, no tendría juego nuevo, si no de nuevo mi juego de House Trap, no podía esperar. Llegó ese momento y me doy cuenta que mi papá me da la misma carcasa que le di, pero al parecer con un disco nuevo dentro de él, me pareció raro pues pensé que tendría otra carcasa por haberlo comprado de nuevo. Coloco el disco y aunque la carcasa decía House Trap el juego era de Scooby Doo, un juego simple de aventura de esa serie y yo me enojé, le dije a mi papá.
I remember that it was about once a month that my dad would get on the subject of my PS1 games, both for money and time, then as I knew that the next month, I would not have a new game, but again my House Trap game, I could not wait. That moment came and I realize that my dad gives me the same case I gave him, but apparently with a new disk inside it, I thought it was strange because I thought I would have another case for having bought it again. I put the disk in and although the case said House Trap the game was Scooby Doo, a simple adventure game of that series and I got angry, I told my dad.
Él me cuenta que jamás consiguió el juego, preguntó en varios lugares y nunca lo consiguió, que al parecer lo que había logrado era dar el disco dañado a alguien para que lo reparara y así lograr jugarlo, le dio el disco que yo tengo ahora y al parecer lo engaño porque simplemente le dio otro juego. Le pedí que volviera a intentar conseguirlo y nada, al parecer aparte de que ya la PS1 estaba siendo algo olvidada, el juego de por si en mi país no fue tan pedido que no había muchos, entonces la siguiente vez que logré jugar ese juego una vez más fue en 2020 cuando le instalé un emulador a mi laptop jaja. Historia que termina en final triste, pero quise contar porque de verdad fue una aventura que mi papá se lanzó.
He told me that he never got the game, he asked in several places and never got it, apparently what he had managed was to give the damaged disc to someone to repair it so he could play it, he gave him the disc that I have now and apparently he cheated him because he simply gave him another game. I asked him to try to get it again and nothing, apparently apart from the fact that the PS1 was already being somewhat forgotten, the game itself in my country was not so requested that there were not many, then the next time I managed to play that game once again was in 2020 when I installed an emulator on my laptop haha. Tuve dos etapas en mi vida donde me di cuenta que toqué un extremo, actualmente me inclino por un solo extremo solamente e intento no irme tan allá justamente ayer fue un día que luché por ello, me refiero a mi nivel de necesidad por socializar. Más o menos por los años 2017 por fin me arriesgue de tener un juego que quería desde hace muchos años, gracias a un Youtuber y quería probar a ver si me gustaba, tal juego se convirtió en mi favorito y fue Skyrim. Tanto me gustó el juego de verdad llegué a un nivel de encerrarme a jugar y no saber ni buscar a nadie en todo ese tiempo, me aislé de la universidad, ignoré a mis amigos que querían verme, peleé con mi mamá porque me la pasaba demasiadas horas en la computadora.
I had two stages in my life where I realized that I touched an extreme, currently I lean towards one extreme only and I try not to go so far just yesterday was a day that I struggled for it, I mean my level of need to socialize. Around 2017 or so I finally took the risk of having a game I wanted for many years, thanks to a Youtuber and wanted to try it out to see if I liked it, such a game became my favorite and it was Skyrim. I really liked the game so much that I got to a level of locking myself up to play and not knowing or looking for anyone all that time, I isolated myself from the university, I ignored my friends who wanted to see me, I fought with my mom because I spent too many hours on the computer.
El juego me atrapó hasta tal punto que mi cabeza no dejaba de preguntarse “¿Y cómo terminará esta historia?” pues tal vez no me refería a la historia principal, o tal vez si la terminé, pero existían las misiones secundarías con historias también bastantes largas que lograban hacerme despertar esa curiosidad de nuevo. Hasta que un día si me detuve, por una frustración que sentí en el juego (GRACIAS A LAS PINCHIS MAQUINAS ENANAS, ESOS AUTÓMATAS ENANOS HORRIBLES) y me di cuenta de cómo estaba y decidí volver a todo lo que ignoré. Con LoL viví algo parecido pero el otro extremo completamente.
The game trapped me to such an extent that my head kept asking "And how will this story end?" because maybe I wasn't referring to the main story, or maybe I did finish it, but there were side missions with stories that were also quite long that managed to make me awaken that curiosity again. Until one day I stopped, because of a frustration I felt in the game (THANKS TO THE DWARF MACHINES, THOSE HORRIBLE AUTOMATONS) and I realized how I was and decided to go back to everything I ignored. With LoL I experienced something similar but the other extreme completely.
Yo seré sincera, yo empecé a jugar League of Legends porque me gustaba alguien y quería jugarlo con ese alguien, el juego igual si me conquistó, pero pasó algo que aún conservo hoy en día que es, no me gusta tanto el juego porque no quiero jugarlo sola. Yo nunca disfruto una partida de LoL yo sola, ya sea por flamers u otros motivos, no la disfruto y lo he intentado en partidas donde hasta gano, pero la verdad no disfruto, me siento un poco obligada. Todo esto lo exploté una vez, que jugué LoL desde las 9 am de un sábado, hasta las 2am del domingo siguiente, seguido donde solo me levantaba para ir al baño y comía allí mismo, y todo eso sucedió porque lo mismo hizo conmigo un grupo de gente específico.
I'll be honest, I started playing League of Legends because I liked someone and I wanted to play it with that someone, the game won me over, but something happened that I still have today is, I don't like the game so much because I don't want to play it alone. I never enjoy a game of LoL by myself, either by flamers or other reasons, I do not enjoy it and I have tried in games where I even win, but the truth is I do not enjoy, I feel a little forced. I exploited all this once, I played LoL from 9am on a Saturday, until 2am the following Sunday, often I only got up to go to the bathroom and ate right there, and all this happened because a specific group of people did the same with me.
Lo que menciono de que actualmente me inclino por eso pero intento controlarlo es que, actualmente siento que me acostumbre demasiado a jugar acompañada, a ver series acompañada y todo eso, y siempre busco la manera de lograrlo pero la verdad no tengo a una persona o personas para eso, me di cuenta mucho de esto ayer, que quería jugar y no había nadie, y termine teniendo un día terrible emocionalmente porque quería jugar y solo me quede viendo el teléfono por esperar a que alguien apareciera y allí vi que estaba mal, me levante, me acomodé y jugué una partida de Stardew Valley sola, completamente sola con miedo porque ya había conversado que jugarlo solo como que no lo iba a disfrutar tanto y la verdad le agarré el gusto, actualmente vivo sola, no tengo a nadie para hacer las cosas, jugar o ver cosas y debo disfrutar más eso, gracias a dios la parte de series, películas y videos ya la sané, simplemente veo demasiado contenido y lo disfruto mucho para mí, ahora me faltan los juegos, que también a veces no hago porque no tengo con quien jugar, medio obligándome a solo jugar cosas cooperativas, pero también por mi energía, a veces solo quiero llegar y no moverme mucho y no tengo un escritorio muy cómodo para mi computadora la verdad.

Ya para terminar una historia curiosa que espero sea más corta que las anteriores. Yo siempre he bailado desde que tengo memoria y algo que me caracteriza es que bailo hasta el más mínimo sonido que sale por allí, porque es mi personalidad, eso hace que juegos como Just Dance sea la gloría para mí, porque bailo y para completar estoy jugando y compitiendo. En mi universidad de vez en cuando organizaban un pequeño evento donde colocaban dos estantes con ventas de productos frikis o anime y otros espacios con muchas consolas para jugar muchas cosas, entre esas cosas estaba el Just Dance. Algo que todo el mundo tiene que saber es que SER UN INCREÍBLE BAILARIN NO SIGNIFICA QUE GANARAS EL JUST DANCE, pues no depende de tus movimientos al 100% (o bueno me refiero al del Wii que es el que yo jugué) sino también de cómo te lea el control para darte tus puntos, y por eso es que yo no decía que sabía bailar sino simplemente jugaba y me divertía.
And to finish a curious story that I hope is shorter than the previous ones. I have always danced since I can remember and something that characterizes me is that I dance to the slightest sound that comes out there, because it is my personality, that makes games like Just Dance is the glory for me, because I dance and to complete I'm playing and competing. In my university from time to time they organized a small event where they placed two shelves with sales of geek products or anime and other spaces with many consoles to play many things, among those things was Just Dance. Something that everyone has to know is that BEING AN AMAZING DANCER DOES NOT MEAN YOU WILL WIN JUST DANCE, because it doesn't depend on your moves 100% (or well I mean the Wii one which is the one I played) but also on how you read the controller to give you your points, and that's why I didn't say I knew how to dance but I just played and had fun.
Bueno por este juego me hice algo “famosa” en la universidad pues fui a evento solo 3 veces, la primera jugué la pasé genial y empezó mucha gente a querer conocerme, preguntar mi nombre, alagarme y demás; la segunda vez que voy a jugar ya sabían de mí y decían “allí viene la gran Michael Jackson” pues la primera vez me destaqué en otro juego de baile imitando a Michael, en esta segunda oportunidad bailé Holding Out for a Hero que casi al final de la canción tiene un Split, que no es necesario hacer, el control no sabrá que lo haces, pero yo amo bailar y me divertía mucho así que lo hice, haciendo que mucha gente me gritara de la emoción y subiera mi popularidad. Ya la tercera vez es que recuerdo claramente que llegué algo tarde a la hora que empezó todo y me decían “ya me estaba preguntando donde estaba la gran Shana” “Eres la del Split” y sentí como la fama por un poquito, ya de allí la verdad muchas de esas personas se fueron de la universidad entonces mi popularidad desapareció y volví a ser una chica normal como ahora.
