Greetings friends. The other day I was thinking about the theme of the weekly Ready Player Hive show. This week's theme is about Virtual Reality and which games you would and would not play in VR. I thought it was a fascinating theme and two games immediately came to mind, although technically it was one game and a whole saga.

Saludos amigos. El otro día estuve pensando en la temática del programa semanal Ready Player Hive. La temática de esta semana es sobre la Realidad Virtual y qué juegos jugarías en VR y cuales no. Me pareció una temática fascinante y de inmediato vinieron a mi mente dos juegos, aunque técnicamente fueron un juego y una saga completa.

What game would you play in VR?
¿Qué juego jugarías en VR?
As I said before, when thinking about what games I would play in virtual reality, one game immediately came to my mind, Journey. I discovered this game on steam and it is certainly one of the most beautiful games I have ever played.
Como dije antes, al pensar en qué juegos jugaría en realidad virtual, inmediatamente vino un juego a mi mente, Journey. Este juego lo descubrí en steam y ciertamente es uno de los juego más hermosos que he jugado.
When I started playing it, it also seemed very similar, at least visually, to Sky, children of light, but in the desert. Although it is very different in certain aspects, it did seem very similar to me and caught my attention immediately.
Cuando lo comencé a jugar, me pareció muy similar también, al menos en el aspecto visual, a Sky, niños de la luz, pero en el desierto. Aunque es muy diferente en ciertos aspecto, sí me pareció muy parecido y me llamó la atención inmediatamente.
It is a short game, but as I said it is a game that I immediately imagined playing in VR. Mostly because of the peace that the game transmits to me when playing it normally, on a PC, but when playing it in VR I guess it also transmits peace, I imagine myself “surfing” or flying through these dunes and the beautiful landscapes of the game, getting lost in the map instead of completing the game itself.
Es un juego corto, pero como dije es un juego que me imaginé inmediatamente jugando en VR. Más que todo por la paz que me trasmite el juego al jugarlo normal, en una PC, pero al jugarlo en VR supongo que también me trasmite paz, me imagino "surfeando" o volando por estas dunas y los paisajes tan hermoso del juego, perdiéndome por el mapa en lugar de completar el propio juego en sí.
This, without a doubt, would be a game I would play in VR. There are others that I would also like, precisely like Sky: Children of Light, Shadow Of The Colossus, among others, but I would like to play this one in VR if possible, in the style of the movie Ready Player One.
Este, sin dudas, sería un juego que jugaría en RV. Hay otros que también me gustarían, precisamente como Sky: niños de la luz, Shadow Of The Colossus, entre otros, pero este me gustaría jugarlo en VR si fuese posible, así al estilo de la película Ready Player One.
What game would I never play in VR?
Well, just as the answer came to my mind in the previous question, I also immediately thought of a game that I would NEVER play in VR. The answer is a saga, more than a game, I mean the Little Nightmares saga, whose third installment will be released this year. But I don't need to play this third installment for me to feel that I would never play this game in virtual reality.

Pues así como la respuesta vino a mi mente en la pregunta anterior, de inmediato también pensé en un juego que JAMÁS jugaría en VR. La respuesta es una saga, más que un juego, me refiero a la saga Little Nightmares, cuya tercera entrega saldrá este mismo año. Pero no me hace falta jugar esta tercera entrega para que sienta que nunca jugaría este juego en realidad virtual.
I remember feeling a lot of fear and stress for the boy and the girl when they were attacked by the bosses of each zone, so just imagine me in virtual reality, again Ready Player One style, running away from these monsters in the game.
Recuerdo que llegué a sentir mucho miedo y estrés por el niño y la niña cuando eran atacados por los jefes de cada zona, así que basta solo imaginarme en realidad virtual, nuevamente al estilo Ready Player One, huyendo de estos monstruos del juego.
It's just that so many come to mind and thinking about what it would be like to see them in VR, being a kid in the game, terrifies me. I think of the twin chefs, the crazy guy with the shotgun, or the ones that would be more terrifying in a VR mode, the patients hiding with the light or the teacher.
Es que me vienen muchos a la mente y pensar cómo sería verlos en VR, siendo un niño en el juego, me aterra. Pienso en los chef gemelos, en el loco con la escopeta, o los que serían más aterradores en un modo de VR, los pacientes que se ocultan con la luz o la profesora.
But not only the antagonists would be terrifying, but also the game's setting itself. Imagine being in a forest or in a totally gray and worn out world, more like a garbage dump than anything else, where you can fall into traps or get locked in a cage just looking for food.
Pero no solo los antagonistas serían terroríficos, sino también el propio escenario del juego. Imagínate estar en un bosque o en un mundo totalmente gris y desgastado, más parecido a un basurero que cualquier otra cosa, donde puedes caer en trampas o quedar encerrado en una jaula simplemente al buscar comida.
It's a game that, as the name says, is a nightmare, so in a VR mode I wouldn't play it, I feel I wouldn't enjoy it. Just as in the previous question, I also thought of other games like Huntsman, which is one that would terrify me a lot because I am arachnophobic, but I feel that even that game could serve as a therapy for my arachnophobia, but Little Nightmare would simply make me have a heart attack escaping from so many dangers and so many terrible creatures...
Es un juego que, como bien dice su nombre, es una pesadilla, así que en un modo de VR no lo jugaría, siento que no lo disfrutaría. Así como en la pregunta anterior, también pensé en otros juegos como Huntsman, que es uno que me aterraría muchísimo porque soy aracnofóbico, pero siento que incluso ese juego podría servirme de terapida a mi aracnofobia, pero Little Nightmare simplemente me haría dar un infarto al escapar de tantos peligros y tantas criaturas terribles...
