Playing this is literally a chaos XD
Today I feel quite happy, I was trying a title that the truth intrigued me a lot, its name is Darkest Dungeon, let's see, the little I know about the game is that it is a turn-based roguelike, yep, turn-based, nothing to run around at our pleasure XD, we must explore many dungeons and get to reach different areas of the map. The truth is that I've been playing for about 30 minutes and I don't know anything, nor do I understand much about the game, it starts off somewhat intuitive but then it becomes very complex to understand, mainly I think it's because of the number of things that appear on the map, there are quite a few, and there is no kind of guide for beginners.... Very bad there eh, this makes many people abandon the game, just because it makes no sense to be researching what to do on the internet, the idea is to learn it right there.
Her exploration is key, always the quests are based on this, I already did the first quest but now I'm doing the second one, I still don't understand much but I hope to do it soon XD. I equipped myself with food and torches, oh, and I recruited two more characters for my party, I guess it's hard.
See, here for example there are some enemies, here we can only move vertically but it's cool, the animations are very nice, nothing basic really.
I've just been explained the use of the torches, it's something very important since losing light makes things more complicated, I don't know in what sense but it affects the gameplay a lot. I've been walking around for a while and the combat system is pretty normal, it reminds me of any other turn-based game, but I still don't understand the purpose, I'd love to know lol XD.
After a few more fights I managed to beat the first mission, let's see, I realized that the game has no story as such, what we will be doing is going through many dungeons and overcoming challenges, equipping ourselves and getting many items until we can finally beat the game. The enemies at the beginning are quite easy, I was expecting something more level, literally, I was never in trouble haha. Well, another thing is that the objects are important, and the torches too, what I don't understand very well is the functionality, if I run out of light what will happen? It's something that I will soon discover.
After a while of playing, I can say that I have learned a little more to play, for example, each character has different powers, which is logical, but we also have mana and we must save it for strong opponents, not anyone like for example that a couple of weak skeletons, generally the final battles at each level are strong and that for those we have to prepare. Also, several powers of our companions serve to heal, either bleeding or infections, we can also cover companions and things like that, all to prevent them from dying. Another fun thing about this game is the items, we can buy items that help us to fight and thus get much more power in general, although we can not always use it.
Another thing we must take care of is stress, stress will literally make us go crazy and miss many hits, lose life, and be jerks haha. It is a characteristic that we must take care of a lot. Another of the most important ones are also effort, which obviously I shouldn't explain haha. The game is incredibly complex, it has many difficult mechanics that not all of us master, also, there are several types of characters, and each one has good and bad things, obviously over time you will have to create your "perfect" team to pass the levels a little easier than what we are used to.
Now let's talk about superficial things, and how it could easily be the graphics. This game has some animated graphics, they remind me a lot of a TV show called MAD, just in some things it reminds me haha. Let's see, this game isn't based on realism or anything like that, mostly it's the gameplay and the other aspects that make it shine on its own. I really liked the art design that this one has, very nice and clean on their part, also the animations, when we see them they generate a good temptation, when fighting we can see our characters use their attacks and that also makes them look cool.
The game's setting is dark, just like the name says haha. The combat system is great but I don't like some things, for example, there are many powers that are not well explained, I have to guess or google them and the worst thing is that they are not well explained there either XD. It's hard, the game is quite difficult and not nice if you are a person who literally has never played this kind of game, soon I will bring more previews, I hope to survive and not uninstall it before. Jugar esto es literalmente un caos XD
Hoy me siento bastante feliz, estuve probando un título que la verdad me intrigaba mucho, su nombre es Darkest Dungeon, a ver, lo poco que sé del juego es que es un roguelike por turnos, sip, por turnos, nada de andar corriendo por ahí a nuestro placer XD, debemos explorar muchas mazmorras y conseguir llegar a distintas zonas del mapa. La verdad es que llevo jugando unos 30 minutos y no sé nada, ni tampoco entiendo mucho acerca del juego, empieza algo intuitivo pero luego se vuelve muy complejo de entender, principalmente creo que es por la cantidad de cosas que aparecen en el mapa, son bastantes, y no hay una especie de guía para principiantes... Muy mal ahí eh, esto hace que muchas personas abandonen el juego, solo porque no tiene sentido estar investigando que hacer en internet, la idea es aprenderlo allí mismo.
Aquí la exploración es clave, siempre las misiones son basadas en esto, yo ya hice la primer misión pero ahora estoy haciendo la segunda, aún sigo sin entender mucho pero espero hacerlo pronto XD. Me equipé con comida y antorchas, ah, y recluté a dos personajes más para mi grupo, supongo que es difícil.
Vean, aquí por ejemplo hay unos enemigos, aquí solo podemos desplazarnos verticalmente pero esta cool, las animaciones son muy bonitas, nada básico la verdad.
Me acaban de explicar el uso de las antorchas, es algo muy importante ya que perder luz hace que se complican las cosas, no sé en que sentido pero afecta mucho a la jugabilidad. He estado caminando un rato por ahí y el sitema de combate es bastante normal, me recuerda a cualquier otro juego de turnos, pero aún sigo sin entender el propósito, me encantaría saberlo lol XD.
Luego de algunas peleas más logré superar la primera misión, a ver, me di cuenta que el juego no tiene historia como tal, lo que iremos haciendo es recorrer muchas mazmorras y superar los retos, equiparnos y conseguir muchos objetos hasta que por fin podamos superar el juego. Los enemigos al principio son bastante fáciles, me esperaba algo más de nivel, literal nunca estuve en aprietos haha. Bueno, otra cosa es que los objetos son importantes, y las antorchas también, lo que no entiendo muy bien es la funcionalidad, si me quedo sin luz que ocurrirá... Es algo que pronto voy a descubrir.
Luego de un rato jugando puedo decir que he aprendido un poco más a jugar, por ejemplo, cada personaje tiene distintos poderes, eso es lógico, pero también tenemos maná y debemos guardarlo para oponentes fuertes, no cualquiera como por ejemplo ese un par de esqueletos débiles, generalmente las batallas finales a cada nivel son fuertes, y eso para esas tenemos que prepararnos. También, varios poderes de nuestros compañeros sirven para curar, ya sean hemorragias o infecciones, también podemos cubrir a compañeros y cosas así, todo para evitar que no mueran. Otra de las cosas divertidas de este juego son los items, podemos comprar items que nos ayuden a luchar y así conseguir mucho más poder en general, aunque no siempre podemos usarlo.
Otra de las cosas que debemos cuidar es el estrés, el estrés nos hará literalmente volvernos loco y fallar muchos golpes, perder vida, y ser imbéciles haha. Es una carácteristica que debemos cuidar mucho. Otra de las más importantes también son el esfuerzo, que obviamente no debo explicar haha. El juego es increíblemente complejo, tiene muchas mecánicas difíciles que no todos dominamos, también, existen varios tipos de personajes, cada uno tiene cosas buenas y malas, obvio con el tiempo tendrás que crear tu team "perfecto" para así pasar los niveles un poco más fácil de lo que estamos acostumbrados.
Ahora hablemos de cosas superficiales, cómo podría ser fácilmente los gráficos. Este juego tiene unos gráficos animados, me recuerdan mucho a un programa de TV llamado MAD, solo en algunas cosas me recuerda haha. A ver, este juego no se basa en realismo o algo así, más que todo es la jugabilidad y los demás aspectos que hacen que brille por si mismo. Me gustó mucho el diseño artístico que este tiene, muy bonito y limpio de su parte, también las animaciones, al verlas nos generan una buena tentación, al combatir podemos ver nuestros personajes utilizar sus ataques y eso también los hace ver geniales.
La ambientación del juego es oscura, justo como su nombre lo dice haha. Literalmente es bastante oscura y por eso necesitamso armarnos de bastantes antorchas antes de salir a batallar por ahí, el sistema de combate es genial pero no me gustan algunas cosas, por ejemplo, existen muchos poderes que para mi no están bien explicados, me toca adivinar o buscarlos en google y lo peor es que allí tampoco están bien explicados XD. Es difícil, el juego es bastante difícil y nada agradable si eres una persona que literal nunca ha jugado este tipo de juegos, pronto traeré más avances, espero sobrevivir y no desinstalarlo antes.
