I dove hard inside the world of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds since its release, and it feels like a never ending journey. I thought games like Genshin Impact were demanding, but diablo Immortal, Nino Kuni, and other similar games that saw the light this summer are no joke. It requires dedicated constant efforts to accumulate power end clear all the content in the game. The first one-month-long event reached this fantasy world, and it brought its challenges. The evil Dusk Genie is the current boss fight for the Magical lamp episode. Here is my experience playing the event and facing an overpowerful enemy.

The event is about an ancient powerful genie being corrupted and released from his seal. A faction leading this is infiltrating Evermore, and we must find out who they are while seeking to stop the corrupted Genie. The event has many elements. I was warned Net Marble is a company that bombard with a lot of content quite frequently, and Oh, it is so true. We have some kind of battle pass that we level up by performing different event activities. We have missions like reputation missions to know the story of this event. We can also participate in discovering the infiltrated factions disguised as sheep, or we can find them in Evermore.
El evento trata sobre un antiguo y poderoso genio que es corrompido y liberado de su sello. Una facción que lidera esto se está infiltrando en Evermore, y debemos descubrir quiénes son mientras buscamos detener al Genio corrupto. El evento tiene muchos elementos. Me advirtieron que Net Marble es una empresa que bombardea con mucho contenido con bastante frecuencia, y es muy cierto. Nonetheless, the top events are the Genie fights. We can do this solo, or with a team of five players. Both fights have a simple and a difficult level, and within those types there are tiers of difficulty. Yes, that's a lot of fighting. The event is for everyone, but it limits players to experience it according to their Combat Power or CP. So, even if you want, you can't obtain all the rewards because your CP will prevent you from clearing certain tiers.
No obstante, los principales eventos son las peleas Genie. Podemos hacerlo solos o con un equipo de cinco jugadores. Ambas peleas tienen un nivel simple y otro difícil, y dentro de esos tipos hay niveles de dificultad. Sí, eso es un montón de peleas. Fighting the Dusk Genie
The normal modes for individual and group battles are to be cleared first. Once we do, we will obtain points for the magic lamp. Those can be used to level up special skills for this fight like more life, less damage, more critical hit rate, etc. So, we must follow the natural progression of the event to complete it. Another important element is Toko. He is a 4 stars familiar who gives a less damage buff while in the Genie Island. Lastly, we had the opportunity to obtain a cosmetic which would also give us some protection during this fight.
I worked really hard to obtain all those buffs, but even so my CP is only around 670,000 which is not enough for the higher tiers and rewards. Even so, When a whale has mercy of the peasants then he leads a high tier fight helping us receive those rewards.

The best strategy is to collect as much buffs and protections possible, and to learn this boss attacks and patterns. I played using the auto mode for attacks so I could focus on positioning and evasion. This boss is Earth elemental meaning we need to attack with all the fire we have! I took my Termite (so cute) and my fire spear and spells but keeping my dark spikes to lower this boss'defense and resistance.
La mejor estrategia es recopilar tantos beneficios y protecciones como sea posible, y aprender los ataques y patrones de este jefe. Jugué usando el modo automático para los ataques para poder concentrarme en el posicionamiento y la evasión. ¡Este jefe es elemental de la Tierra, lo que significa que debemos atacar con todo el fuego que tenemos! Tomé mi termita (que lindo) y mi lanza de fuego y hechizos pero mantuve mis picos oscuros para bajar la defensa y resistencia de este jefe.
Orbs
The Genie most annoying attack is casting orbs around the field. Those can be small or big, and in higher tiers they drain quite some health points. The better way to deal with this is just evade the attack and learn the patterns.

Transformations
The other pretty annoying attack is being transformed into a mushroom monster or a Toko familiar. To solve the mushroom state, we must run into one of the lights that will appear around the boss, and as for Toko, Cluu tells us we must go inside the tornado to dissipate the spell.
El otro ataque bastante molesto se está transformando en un monstruo hongo o en un familiar Toko. Para solucionar el estado del hongo, debemos toparnos con una de las luces que aparecerán alrededor del jefe, y en cuanto a Toko, Cluu nos dice que debemos adentrarnos en el tornado para disipar el hechizo.
Area Attacks
There are many types of area attacks this boss performs. He makes some sucking spirals, strong drafts around him in different shapes, circular explosions, and more. The only trick for this is to learn the patterns and pay attention to the ability timer. The areas in which some attacks will appear will be marked in orange, and a pattern inside those areas will fill them indicating when those will be released.
Hay muchos tipos de ataques de área que realiza este jefe. Hace algunas espirales de succión, fuertes corrientes de aire a su alrededor en diferentes formas, explosiones circulares y más. El único truco para esto es aprender los patrones y prestar atención al temporizador de habilidad. Las áreas en las que aparecerán algunos ataques estarán marcadas en naranja, y un patrón dentro de esas áreas las llenará indicando cuándo se lanzarán.
Rage mode
All bosses in Ni no Kuni enter a rage mode after losing half of their life, and the Genie is no exception. All damage is increased as well as speed. We just have to be extra careful and measure the use of potions and healing skills better.

Rewards
My contribution in damage for higher tiers is not really impressive. Only I few times I managed to be the MVP. The rewards are substantial in my opinion. We obtain two puzzles to increase our CP, materials and toys for our familiars, and the chance to obtain Toko. This is the best reward because as a F2P having a familiar awakened beyond 2 or 3 is quite difficult in this stage of the game. Toko will become one of the best healers, and this event made it available for everyone.
Mi contribución en daño para niveles más altos no es realmente impresionante. Solo yo pocas veces logré ser el MVP. Las recompensas son sustanciales en mi opinión. Obtenemos dos rompecabezas para aumentar nuestro CP, materiales y juguetes para nuestros familiares, y la posibilidad de obtener a Toko. Esta es la mejor recompensa porque como F2P tener un familiar despierto más allá de 2 o 3 es bastante difícil en esta etapa del juego.
