¡The battle between angels and demons has begun!
Last June 2nd was the official launch of Diablo Immortal for android and iOS mobile devices. That day, while we were talking about a thousand things in the team, Jose came with the news, and indeed, that was the main headline in the app stores of both platforms. With the warning of being a 17+ game, Diablo Immortal became the suggestion of the day, however, it wasn't until the next morning when I finally gave in to social pressure, downloaded it, installed it, and started playing it right away.
The release of this version of the game has aroused the interest not only of the followers of the Blizzard Entertainment saga but also of those of us who had not had the opportunity to play previous versions of the game. Not having played before any title of the saga, I have no point of comparison; however, I found it fascinating to be involved in an environment of mystery, and of course, of terror, in which armies of angels face the demonic forces of the afterlife to take control of the world.
I allow myself to mention the word armies in plural because this is a multiplayer online role-playing game that brings together players from all over the world, so there are many of us who join this all-out war between good and evil. Fascinating!
Like many other games of this genre, at the beginning we will have the opportunity to choose the role classes that our character will play, this selection depends a lot on the style of each player and the skills they prefer, which are generally summarized in choosing characters with physical or magical attacks, either melee or ranged.
Well, Diablo Immortal is not so different, only that they gave that particular touch of turning players into a kind of sultans of good so that we will have to choose between 6 classes: barbarian, mage, demon hunter, monk, crusader, and necromancer. I usually prefer melee classes in role-playing games, so I decided that the first of the 5 allowed characters would be of the crusader class, which despite being melee, causes physical and magical damage.
Once I customized my character, which here is called Gora, the next few hours were to start the tutorial and get hooked on the gameplay and story of the game. My first impression was to compare it with Mir4, graphically it is very similar, but the truth is that the story in Diablo Immortal is superior. In the hours following the installation of the game I was so hooked that I felt that it was happening to me like the catchy little song of TikTok (you know: I wish, I was carried away by ...).
But no, fortunately, in the game I belong to the army of light and not of darkness, anything in case I forget I always have the commitments of real life to remind me and keep me from the temptation ... to play hahaha, so during the week I have not been able to advance as much as I would like, even so, I have been super pending to complete my missions to level up.
I recorded several sessions of the gameplay, some are completing the challenges of the dungeons; however, in these recordings you can't see the open world that the game has, so I decided to show you both sides, so after successfully completing the dungeon we will take a walk to accomplish other tasks, this way you will see that beautiful environment in which the story unfolds.
I hope you enjoy it, and if anyone is already playing it, then the invitation is to meet for a while in the GeekZone server in discord, that way we can put together a Warband, which I'm missing a lot right now, and go out together to fight to rescue the light of the world.

¡La lucha entre ángeles y demonios ha comenzado!
El pasado 2 de junio fue el lanzamiento oficial de Diablo Inmortal para dispositivos móviles android y iOS. Ese día, mientras conversábamos de mil cosas en el grupo, José llegó con la noticia, y efectivamente, ese era el principal titular en las tiendas de aplicaciones de ambas plataformas. Con la advertencia de ser un juego para mayores de 17 años, Diablo Inmortal se convirtió en la sugerencia del día, sin embargo, no fue sino hasta la mañana siguiente cuando finalmente cedí a la presión social, lo descargué, lo instalé y comencé a jugarlo de inmediato.
La llegada de esta versión del juego ha despertado el interés no solo de los seguidores de la saga de Blizzard Entertainment, sino también de quienes no habíamos tenido la oportunidad de jugar anteriores entregas. No habiendo jugado antes ningún título de la saga, no tengo punto de comparación alguno; no obstante, me ha resultado fascinante verme envuelta en una atmósfera de misterio, y por supuesto, de terror, en la que ejércitos de ángeles se enfrentan a las fuerzas demoníacas del más allá para tomar el control del mundo.
Me permito mencionar la palabra ejércitos en plural, porque este es un juego de rol multijugador en línea que congrega jugadores de todas partes del mundo, por lo que somos muchos los que nos sumamos a esa guerra sin cuartel entre el bien y el mal. ¡Fascinante!
Como muchos otros juegos de este tipo, al iniciar tendremos la oportunidad de elegir la clase de rol que desempeñará nuestro personaje, esta selección depende mucho del estilo de cada jugador y de las habilidades que prefiera, las cuales generalmente se resumen en elegir personajes de ataques físicos o mágicos, bien sea cuerpo a cuerpo o a distancia.
Pues bien, en Diablo Inmortal no es tan diferente, solo que le dieron ese toque particular de convertir a los jugadores en una especie de sultanes del bien, de manera que tendremos que elegir entre 6 clases: bárbaro, mago, cazador de demonios, monje, cruzado y nigromante. Yo en los juegos de rol suele preferir los de clase cuerpo a cuerpo, así que decidí que el primero de los 5 personajes permitidos, fuese de clase cruzada, que a pesar de ser cuerpo a cuerpo, causa daños físicos y mágicos.
Una vez personalizado mi personaje, que aquí si se llama Gora, las próximas horas fueron para iniciar el tutorial e irme enganchando de la jugabilidad e historia del juego. Mi primera impresión fue compararlo con Mir4, gráficamente es muy parecido, pero la verdad es que la historia en Diablo Inmortal es superior. Las horas siguientes a la instalación del juego estaba tan enganchada que sentí que me estaba pasando como la pegajosa cancioncita de tiktok (ya saben: ojalá, me lleve…).
Pero no, afortunadamente, en el juego yo pertenezco al ejército de la luz y no de las tinieblas, cualquier cosa por si me olvida siempre tengo los compromisos de la vida real para que recordármelo y apartarme de la tentación…de jugar jajaja, así que durante la semana no he podido adelantar tanto como me gustaría, aun así, he estado super pendiente de ir cumpliendo mis misiones para ir subiendo de nivel.
Grabé varias sesiones del gameplay, algunos son completando los desafíos de las fallas y mazmorras; sin embargo, en estas grabaciones no se observa el mundo abierto que tiene el juego, por lo que decidí mostrarles ambas caras, así que tras completar con éxito la mazmorra daremos un paseo para cumplir otras tareas, de esta manera verán ese ambiente hermoso en que se desarrolla la historia.
Espero que lo disfruten, y si alguno ya lo está jugando, entonces la invitación es a reunirnos un rato en el servidor de GeekZone en discord, de esa manera podemos armar una banda de guerra, que bastante falta me está haciendo ahorita, y salimos juntos a luchar por recuperar la luz del mundo.
