Hola amigos de GeekZone, esta es mi participación en Ready Player Hive, en esta oportunidad tenemos que hablar de la mejor o peor skin de navidad. Y bueno yo creo que de lo que voy a hablar no es precisamente un Skin de esos desbloqueables o descargables que pueden usar nuestros personajes. Se trata más bien del mismísimo Santa Claus, en su aparición en Los Sims 1 para PC.

Hello friends of GeekZone, this is my participation in Ready Player Hive, this time we have to talk about the best or worst Christmas skin. And well I think that what I'm going to talk about is not exactly one of those unlockable or downloadable skins that our characters can use. It is rather about Santa Claus himself, in his appearance in The Sims 1 for PC.

Los Sims 1 siguen siendo para mí el mejor juego de la saga que he jugado, por supuesto considerando todas sus expansiones. Pero el personaje del que quiero hablarles, llegó en la primera entrega de una expansión del juego, esta se llamaba “Más vivos que nunca” y fue una de las expansiones más interesantes que tuvo el juego por la cantidad de elementos nuevos que incorporó. Bueno debo decir que mi expansión favorita era Magia Potagia, y Animales a Raudales hizo del juego algo muy especial, pero el principio de todo fue, Más Vivos que Nunca e instalarlo siendo la primera expansión fue sumamente emocionante.

The Sims 1 is still for me the best game of the saga that I have played, of course considering all its expansions. But the character I want to talk about, came in the first installment of an expansion of the game, this was called "More alive than ever" and it was one of the most interesting expansions that the game had because of the amount of new elements it incorporated. Well, I must say that my favorite expansion was Magic Potagia, and Animals in torrents made the game something very special, but the beginning of everything was More Alive Than Ever and installing it being the first expansion was extremely exciting.

A nuestro personaje de Santa Claus había que hacerlo aparecer, verán en aquella época no había internet para descubrir todas las cosas ocultas del juego, por lo que la visita de SanTa Claus a nuestra casa de manera sorpresiva era motivo e emoción. Su visita no eran casual, solo hacía falta comprar un árbol de navidad, colocarlo junto a la chiminea y un lado del árbol colocar un plato de galletas con leche y voila, pronto tendrías a Santa Clause merodeando por tu casa y lo mejor de todo, te dejaba regalos, que normalmente no tenían mucho valor. Pero que sin duda serían de bastante utilidad si apenas empezabas el juego y no tenías suficiente dinero para amoblar tu casa.

Our Santa Claus character had to be made to appear, you see at that time there was no internet to discover all the hidden things in the game, so the visit of Santa Claus to our house in a surprising way was a reason and excitement. His visit was not casual, you only needed to buy a Christmas tree, place it next to the fireplace and on one side of the tree place a plate of cookies with milk and voila, soon you would have Santa Clause hanging around your house and best of all, he would leave you gifts, which usually did not have much value. But they would certainly come in handy if you were just starting the game and didn't have enough money to furnish your house.

Los Sims 1 estaban llenos de secretos, y esto lo hacía fantástico, no sé qué sucedió que poco a poco fueron perdiendo gracia, y realmente no llegué a disfrutar tanto Los Sims 4 como lo hice con el uno y todas sus expansiones, sin duda el Santa Claus fue uno de estos secretos descubiertos más emocionantes. Además, este personaje era bondadoso, no nos molestaba, solo se comía sus galletas con leche, dejaba los regalos y se iba, porque realmente había personajes desastrosos, que echaban a perder nuestra casa, dañaban los aparatos, molestaban a los Sims, realmente podían ser un verdadero dolor de cabeza , como lo era el payaso llorón.

The Sims 1 was full of secrets, and this made it fantastic, I do not know what happened that little by little they were losing grace, and I really did not get to enjoy The Sims 4 as much as I did with the one and all its expansions, without a doubt Santa Claus was one of these secrets discovered more exciting. Besides, this character was kind, he didn't bother us, he just ate his cookies with milk, left the gifts and left, because there were really disastrous characters, who spoiled our house, damaged the appliances, bothered the Sims, they could really be a real headache, as was the crying clown.

Hace tiempo que juego Los Sims y es que me di cuenta que pasaba demasiado tiempo haciendo con mi personaje lo podría estar haciendo en mi vida real jaja creo que fue un gran disfrute en mi adolescencia, es una de las mejores épocas para divertirnos.

I've been playing The Sims for a long time and I realized that I spent too much time doing with my character what I could be doing in my real life haha I think it was a great enjoyment in my adolescence, it's one of the best times to have fun.
