Pero no, no hablo del clásico de nintendo que todos conocemos, hablo de el islander hecho por Hudson para su propia video consola

Hello #hive community, this time we are testing the New Adventure Island game. 

But no, I'm not talking about the nintendo classic we all know, I'm talking

La consola japonesa es diminuta, osea si lo pones a escala de que es no mayor al mando de juego. todo un hit para su epoca con pasos adelantados con tencologia alienigena, XD

creo que por aqui en américa se dio a conocer como la turbografic 16

Pero eso si, con un diseño de maquina algo aparatoso y gigante de horrendo color gris (que parece de plastico reciclado de mala calidad)... con pinta mas una video casetera de vhs por lo fea que es. (porque los gringos les gusta todo en exceso grande), comparada con la miniatura de consola que es la original de japon

que podemos hablar de la consola

pues sus juegos no eran de cartucho (como la nintendo) son de mini tarjetas que se ponen insertadas en el frontal

osea tanto en diseño como en juegos, la pc engine se ve a todas luces una consola futurista (para su epoca)

No entrare mucho en detalle de la historia patria del aparato, lo resumire en que Hudson creaba juegos para nintendo, pero nintendo ya estaba saturada de titulos y decia (no quiero tus juegos de plataforma hombre, no damos abasto para sacar los cartuchos a nivel mundial, ve y dedícate a hacer juegos de naves de maquinas arcade)

asi que hudson llena de titulos propios le pidió plata a la hidroelectrica de Japón (osea a la empresa de luz) y pues creo su propia consola, dándose el lujo de sacar cuanto juego retenido y en proceso tenian pensado.

Osea libertad creativa.

Indudablemente eso fue un Bum en japon (osea otra empresa le planto cara a nintendo y se llevaba bastante de tajada del pastel a nivel local)

es portatil, pequeña y se enchufa a un tele con cartuchos que son tarjeticas.
Osea para un jugador casual individual.

Logicamente existen juegos hasta para 4 jugadores, asi que para enchufar mas mandos, tiene un pequeño adaptador.

ya que la maquina original solo viene con 3 enchufes, uno para voltaje, otro para audio y video (la de los 3 colores) y un frontal para 1 solo control.

Asi que pues para jugar con varios solo era cuestion de enchufar un control generico o original.

Cabe decir que mucho de su repertorio de titulos tiene arto juego inedito que por acá si llegaron (razones obvias es una maquina que prospero en Japon)

Y pues logicamente el mas conocido que todos tenemos de referencia es la Aventura de Islander de Nes

since the original machine only comes with 3 plugs, one for voltage, 
one for audio and video (the 3 colors) and a front for 1 single control.

So to play with several players, it was just a matter of plugging the adapter and how much a generic or original control you had.

It should be said that much of its repertoire of titles has a lot of unreleased games that almost did not arrive here (obvious reasons is a machine that 
thrived in Japan).

And logically the best known that we all have as a reference is 
the Nes Islander Adventure

¿Pero que diferencia hay?

Desde mi experiencia jugandolo tal y como reacciono en el video.

Primero las graficas son enormes, coloridas y los escenarios de niveles son totalmente distintos, asi que entrega una experiencia nueva al no ser igual a su version de nintendo.

Los escenarios son algo largos...y si, se sienten algo extensos, hasta con banderín para grabar a mitad de area como los mario world.

Cabe decir que en cuestiones de movimiento y gravedad, el heroe si se siente algo pesado. Puede que saltar los vacíos entre las áreas se vuelva un salto de fé, No se como si llevara rocas en los bolsillos del pantalon.

Pero pese a lo pesado que se siente el jugador, se puede distrutar del titulo.

First of all, the graphics are huge, colorful and the level scenarios are 
totally different, so it delivers a new experience by not being the same 
as the nintendo version.


The scenarios are somewhat long...and yes, they feel somewhat extensive, even 
with a pennant to record in the middle of the area like mario world.


It should be said that in terms of movement and gravity, the hero feels a bit heavy. Maybe jumping the gaps between areas becomes a leap of faith.
I don't know if he's carrying rocks in his pants pockets.

Cosa que hay que mencionar es que las armas son distintas.
en lo personal lanzar flecha de frente me gustaron muchisimo mas, ya que tienen bastante alcance y se pueden lanzar seguidas una tras otras.

One thing to mention is that the weapons are different.
Personally I like to throw arrows from the front because they have 
enough range and can be launched in a row, one after the other.

Puede que el poder de bolas de fuego no me gustara de a mucho, pues tiene corto alcance y tiende a irse hacia el suelo.

el Bumerang es interesante, ya que retorna , pero es algo lioso de depender de este por lo raro que se siente usarlo
Y si, hablo de tener el enemigo en la cara y lanzar eso y ni idea de que le pega o no.

I may not like the ability to throw fireballs very much, as it has a short 
range and tends to go to the ground.

The Boomerang is interesting, since it comes back, but it's a bit tricky to 
depend on it because of how weird it feels to use it.
And yes, I'm talking about having the enemy in your face and throwing that and 
no idea if it hits him or not.

En mi caso corri el emulador de Pc engine dentro de la xbox junto con los rom de tarjeta (llamados Hu-card)

Cabe decir que la pc engine tambien tiene sistema de leer cd de juegos...osea literalmente adelantada a su época, mas que el play 1, ya que ni existía aún esa consola.

aunque su motor grafico sigue siendo de 16 bits, asi que por mas que sean en Cd se veran como roms de super nintendo.

Aunque claro que no todo juego, pues castelvania en esa consola y otros juegos se ven brutales, al punto de parecer de psx1

In my case I was able to play it by using a PC engine emulator inside the xbox 
along with the card roms (called Hu-card).
