Runaterra es el nombre que recibe el mundo donde se desarrolla League of Legends. De aquí proviene la gran inmensidad de personajes, exceptuando los provenientes del Vacío y del espacio. Por otro lado, Valoran es el continente de Runaterra del que surgen todas las historias que conoceremos mas adelante en otro post que realizare especificando cada region y sus personajes mas destacados .
Runaterra is the name that the world receives where League of Legends develops. From here comes the great immensity of characters, excepting those from Vacuum and space. Se cuenta que en la isla oriental de Jonia, se libró una gran guerra entre los mortales que habitaban dichas tierras y unos seres gigantes de naturaleza celeste. Por supuesto, los mortales tenían las de perder y se hizo necesario un milagro para darle la vuelta a la situación.
Ese milagro fue la aparición de los Vastayashai'rei. seres legendarios de inmenso poder que existían tanto en el reino material como en el espiritual. Gracias a esta victoria, se pudo asentar la vida mortal en Runaterra de forma definitiva.

Estas runas estan siendo buscadas por ryze , podriamos calificarlo como un protector que busca a resguardar dichas runas para proteger al mundo de sus propia destruccion ya que ha visto pueblos enteros consumidos por el poder y llevados a la destruccion personaje que les traere su lore en un futuro.
