Even in the darkest area in Death's Gambit - Afterlife Game it's time to continue exploring and again this area showed why it has been one of the most tedious in the whole adventure, after a long time exploring all the corridors and rooms without having any idea of what to do, I discovered that despite having very little visibility in this area, we also have secret walls which visually have nothing that differentiates them from the rest, but our character can still cross them by simply advancing.
A new mechanic was still waiting for me in this area and it is about polarity, in some specific points our character can be charged with energy and switch between positive or negative polarity by hitting the ground, polarity has a special utility for combat and this is because we will also have enemies charged with energy where if we have the same polarity we will cause less damage, but at the same time we can receive less damage and even be invulnerable to certain enemy attacks. On the other hand, if we have opposite polarity to the enemies we will cause much more damage, it will be important to be attentive to this mechanic.
Finishing exploring this area I managed to get a new weapon, another gun, but red which has a slightly higher damage than the first gun, but has a different firing mechanic where the ammunition has a boomerang effect where after advancing a little projectiles, they return back a long distance, although I still do not see much use for laser weapons considering their low damage and limited ammunition, I imagine they may be useful at some times or could even be improved to cause good damage.
The boss of this area had a somewhat simple appearance, a quadruped creature with a typical video game beast appearance, as expected among its patterns and attack mechanics was the use of the current and the different polarities, had several lightning attacks both directly launched by him, as well as lightning orbs that appear on the screen and create lines on the screen that will then be lightning. It also plays with the mechanics of polarity change where we must be attentive to change to its opposite polarity and cause more damage. I narrowly missed defeating the boss in my first battle, but with the second battle I was able to finally leave this stressful dark zone behind.

Aun en la zona más oscura en Death's Gambit - Afterlife Game es momento de continuar explorando y nuevamente esta zona demostró por que ha sido de las más tediosas en toda la aventura, luego de un buen tiempo explorando todos los pasillos y habitaciones sin tener idea de lo que debía hacer, descubrí que a pesar de contar con muy poca visibilidad en esta zona, también tenemos paredes secretas las cuales visualmente no tienen nada que las diferencia del resto, pero de igual forma nuestro personaje puede atravesarlas simplemente avanzando.
Una nueva mecánica aun me esperaba en esta zona y la misma se trata de la polaridad, en algunos puntos en específico nuestro personaje puede cargarse de energía y cambiar entre polaridad positiva o negativa realizando un golpe contra el suelo, la polaridad tiene una utilidad especial para el combate y esto se debe a que también tendremos enemigos cargados de energía en donde si tenemos la misma polaridad les provocaremos menos daño, pero al mismo tiempo puedo recibir menos daño y hasta incluso ser invulnerable a ciertos ataques enemigos. Por otro lado, si tenemos polaridad opuesta a los enemigos les causaremos mucho más daño, será importante esta atento con esta mecánica.
Terminando de explorar esta zona logre conseguir una nueva arma, otra pistola, pero de color rojo la cual tiene un daño ligeramente mayor a la primera pistola, pero cuenta con una mecánica de disparo diferente en donde la munición tiene un efecto de boomerang en donde luego de avanzar un poco los proyectiles, los mismos vuelven hacia atrás recorriendo una gran distancia, aunque aun no le veo mucha utilidad a las armas laser considerando su poco daño y munición tan limitada, imagino que podrán resultar útiles en algunos momentos o que hasta podrían mejorarse para causar buen daño.
El jefe de esta zona tenia un aspecto un poco sencillo, una criatura cuadrúpeda con una apariencia típica de bestia de videojuegos, como era de esperar entre sus patrones y mecánicas de ataque estaba el uso de la corriente y las diferentes polaridades, tenía varios ataques de rayos tanto que los lanzaba directamente el, así como de orbes de rayo que aparecen por la pantalla y crean líneas por la pantalla que luego serán rayos. También juega con la mecánica del cambio de polaridad en donde deberemos estar atentos para cambiar a su polaridad opuesta y lograr causarle más daño. Por muy poco no logre vencer al jefe en mi primer enfrentamiento, pero con la segunda batalla me alce con la victoria para por fin poder dejar atrás esta zona oscura tan estresante.
