Yesterday, I had to do some maintenance on the software of my PS3, which had been neglected for years and was running slow and with poor performance. Here’s a rundown of the process.

First, I connected the console to a stable internet network and started updating the system. Next, I downloaded the necessary programs for software maintenance and the updates for HAN, MultiMan, and WebMAN MOD to a USB drive. These updates allow the system to manage various controller options, such as temperature and fan controls, among others.

Auna red de internet estable y comenzar a actualizar el sistema, luego descargar para la pendrive los programas necesarios para el mantenimiento del software y la actualización del han y los multi e iris man para poder dar funcionamiento a algunas opciones de controladores en el sistema como la de temperatura y fanes entre otras.
Once everything was ready, I activated all the updated options and connectivity settings, both local and internet ports, which would be useful for some upcoming games I want to play. These games were the reason I decided to perform maintenance on the console, as after such a long period of disuse, it wasn’t processing some of them properly.
Cuando esto estuvo listo, active todas las opciones actualizadas y las de tipos de conectividad local y de acceso a puertos de internet que me sería útiles para algunos videojuegos que quiero jugar próximamente,que fueron los que me impulsaron a dar mantenimiento a la consola ya que al pasar tanto tiempo en des uso no me estaba procesando algunos de esos juegos.
While I was at it, I also helped a friend install drivers for his PC while all the console optimizations were being applied. Once these processes were completed, I rebooted the console to ensure that all procedures were carried out correctly and that there were no bugs or compatibility issues. After verifying that everything was in order, I started the installation of one of the games that had been giving me problems to check if the issue was resolved.
Entre una cosa y otra ayude a un amigo también a instalar los drivers de su pc en lo que se instalaban todas las optimizaciones de la consola.
Cuando estos procesos terminaron reinicie la consola para asegurarme de que todos los procedimientos se realizaron de una manera adecuada y que no quedó ningún bug o algún problema de compatibilidad con la consola, al ver que todo estaba en orden inicie el proceso de instalación de uno de los juegos que me daba problemas para ver si se habia resuelto.
I proceeded to install The Last of Us, and after a few minutes of waiting, it installed perfectly and without any errors. This confirmed that the maintenance process was a success and highlighted the importance of keeping consoles well-maintained.
