Cuando comencé a escribir contenido en Hive solo tenía en mis manos un teléfono, nada más. Mi madre se había tomado la modestia de prestarme su pequeña laptop por un tiempo, pues veía que aquello de escribir contenido desde un Smartphone era en cierta forma incómodo. Entonces tomé la costumbre de trabajar en ambos dispositivos a la vez, lo que al final de cuentas me terminaba cansando más porque debía hacer el doble. Se me hizo relativamente incomodo por lo que decidí usar solo el teléfono, y de alguna manera logré adaptarme. En mis planes futuros alisté una PC nueva, aunque la verdad esa meta estaba en un segundo plano.
No obstante, trabajar solo desde el teléfono comenzó a hacerse difícil por mis problemas de insomnio. Mis ojos ardían por el tiempo prolongado que le dedicaba a escribir un Post, buscar buenas imágenes, hacer videos, grabar gameplays, editar mis vblogs, etc. Además, comenzaba yo a notar esos efectos secundarios que llegan tarde pero llegan; un año después de ingresar a Hive tuve que tomar una decisión, al principio dura, pero cuyos resultados me harían sentir más cómodo. Fue entonces cuando decidí comprar una PC, y puedo decir con toda seguridad que no ha sido una mala decisión.

However, working alone from the phone began to become difficult due to my insomnia problems. My eyes burned from the long time I spent writing a Post, looking for good images, making videos, recording gameplays, editing my vblogs, etc. In addition, I was beginning to notice those side effects that arrive late but arrive; a year after joining Hive I had to make a decision, hard at first, but whose results would make me feel more comfortable. That's when I decided to buy a PC, and I can safely say that it wasn't a bad decision.

El mundo de la creación de contenido requiere de evolución; al principio es algo difícil, luego con constancia, empeño, dedicación y amor uno ve los resultados. Mi sueño como Gamer (aficionado, XD) es una PC Gamer, aunque para nadie es un secreto no son nada baratas. Mi papá siempre me dice que por algo se empieza, y que ya luego se construye algo mejor. Pensar bajo esos términos es algo difícil en Venezuela porque, incluso algunos equipos tecnológicos, por muy baratos que estén, son difíciles de adquirir. Mi idea era ahorrar hasta fin de año pero ya el proceso de hacer todo desde mi Smartphone me estaba atosigando. Por si ustedes no lo saben, mis ingresos económicos provienen de la creación de contenido, incluso hice un artículo que explicaba cómo era que Hive lograba ayudarme. Obviamente, todo tenía una razón.
Les cuento esto para que puedan entender el contexto de esa “decisión difícil” que tuve que tomar, y que se refiera nada más y nada menos que a mi Hive Power. Para mí era intocable, y dar ese paso me entristeció de cierta manera. Luego pensé en el porqué de dicha decisión: “Quería yo mejorar mi contenido y a su vez sentirme más cómodo creando”. Entonces me fijé la meta de la PC, y comencé a buscar equipos que fueran de calidad y un poco ajustados a lo que iba a disponer para la compra. Me asesoré con un amigo que es ingeniero en sistemas y él a su vez me recomendó visitar una tienda ubicada en la ciudad de Lechería, Venezuela. Debido a los problemas de escasez de gasolina en el país tuve que suspender el viaje una y otra vez, y al final no me quedó de otra que aventurarme en las tiendas tecnológicas de Maturín.
Para mi sorpresa, y casi en última instancia, encontré una tienda que vendía equipos a buen precio. Antes de visitarla me asesoré nuevamente pero esta vez con un Hiver amaestrado en el área (gracias @morenow, XD) porque o sea, yo de PC no se mucho, jajaja. Los productos que vendían eran recertificados, algo totalmente nuevo para mí. Al principio me había negado porque pensé que era algo pirata, pero resultaba ser que estaba yo equivocado. Había una variedad muy buena en CPUs, y con precios accesibles. Yo lo único que preguntaba era: “y se puede jugar en ella”, y creo que la muchacha que me atendió notó lo poco intelectual que soy al momento de hablar sobre computadoras, jajaja. Ella me ayudó mucho la verdad, y me habló con la buena intención de que yo pudiera llevarme un buen equipo a casa.
“Usted es el que sabe.” Terminó diciéndome cuando me mostró todos los CPU y sus características, refiriéndose a esa difícil situación de elegir entre uno o el otro. Ella me recomendó, tal vez por mis intenciones de jugar al menos Fall Guys, que eligiera de un procesador I5 para arriba, y fíjense, le hice caso y compré un equipo con un procesador I7, que es mucho mayor, o eso creo jajaja.

To me he was untouchable, and taking that step made me sad in a way. Then I thought about the reason for that decision: "I wanted to improve my content and in turn feel more comfortable creating." Then I set the goal of the PC, and I began to look for equipment that was of quality and a little adjusted to what that he was going to have for the purchase. I took advice from a friend who is a systems engineer and he in turn recommended me to visit a store located in the city of Lechería, Venezuela. Due to the gasoline shortage problems in the country, I had to suspend the trip over and over again, and in the end I had no choice but to venture into the technology stores of Maturín.
To my surprise, and almost ultimately, I found a store that sold equipment at a good price. Before visiting her, I got advice again but this time with a Hiver trained in the area (thanks @morenow, XD) because I mean, I don't know much about PC, hahaha. The products they sold were recertified, something totally new to me. At first I had refused because I thought it was something pirated, but it turned out that I was wrong. There was a very good variety of CPUs, and with affordable prices. The only thing I asked was: "and can you play on it", and I think the girl who helped me noticed how little intellectual I am when it comes to talking about computers, hahaha. She really helped me a lot, and she spoke to me with the good intention that I could take a good team home.
"You are the one who knows." She ended up telling me when she showed me all the CPUs and their features, referring to that difficult situation of choosing between one or the other. She recommended me, perhaps because of my intentions to play at least Fall Guys, that I choose an I5 processor and above, and look, I listened to her and bought a computer with an I7 processor, which is much larger, or so I think hahaha.

Su precio fue de unos 160$, algo que para mí fue realmente accesible. La muchacha me explicó que si yo lo deseaba, podía yo irla repotenciando de a poco, me estuvo explicando cómo podía el equipo funcionar mejor y me recomendó comprar una fuente de poder. El equipo viene con un mes de garantía, algo que hizo un poco de ruido en mi cabeza pero, la muchacha me dijo que no debía preocuparme porque el equipo era de alta calidad y volvió a indicarme lo de la fuente de poder, algo que sí debía ser extremadamente necesario, todavía más por las fallas en el sistema eléctrico en Venezuela.
El equipo enciende muy rápido, o al menos es más rápido que las antiguas computadoras que usé alguna vez. Tiene muchos puertos (la muchacha me dijo que los azules eran para dispositivos rápidos como el Mouse o el Teclado, XD) y el CPU viene con una corneta de sonido, no suena muy fuerte, pero sirve de algo hasta que compre un equipo mejor equipo de altavoces.

Obvio que una Pc no es una Pc sin un monitor y bueno, el resto de cosas, XD. Por suerte en la misma tienda tenían buenas ofertas de monitores, eso sí, eran reacondicionados de fábrica. Había tres de diecinueve pulgadas pero de marcas diferentes: Samsung, LG, y otro que no recuerdo. Elegí el Samsung porque sé que es una buena marca, y además el diseño de la pantalla es bastante cómodo; delgado y un poco compacto, amplio a la vista, algo que mis ojos y retinas agradecen con mucha alegría, XD. El precio fue de 65 $, muy económico para lo que originalmente había previsto yo.
Pasar de las 6,43 pulgadas de mi teléfono a las 19 pulgadas del monitor que adquirí es una gran diferencia. Si antes me gustaba escribir ahora me gustará el doble, jajaja. Esto me ayudará para otras actividades que estoy haciendo y que deseo hacer. Ya podré ver películas más cómodamente porque antes veía todo desde mi Smartphone, XD. Luego compraré uno mejor, pero por ahora este me va muy bien.

There were three nineteen-inch ones but from different brands: Samsung, LG, and another one that I don't remember. I chose Samsung because I know it's a good brand, and also the screen design is quite comfortable; thin and a little compact, wide to the eye, something that my eyes and retinas appreciate with great joy, XD. The price was $65, very cheap for what I had originally anticipated.
Going from the 6.43 inches of my phone to the 19 inches of the monitor I bought is a big difference. If before I liked to write, now I'll like it twice as much, hahaha. This will help me for other activities that I am doing and that I want to do. Now I will be able to watch movies more comfortably because before I used to watch everything from my Smartphone, XD. Later I will buy a better one, but for now this one suits me very well.

Al instalar la Pc lo primero que descargué fue la extensión KeyChain e ingresé a mi blog de Hive… ¡todo se ve tan distinto desde un computador…! XD. Algo importante a destacar es que logré encontrar una mesita de PC para instalar el equipo. Eso me preocupaba pero por suerte dicha cuestión fue resuelta, y sin gastos de por medio porque la mesa pertenecía a mis padres, XD. Está algo viejita pero por estoy planeando mejorarla hasta que pueda adquirir una nueva. Ya tenía un teclado guardado por ahí así que no dudé en usarlo, con la mala sorpresa de que estaba muy dañado y no lo leía la PC. Con respecto al Mouse pues, también me tocó comprar uno nuevo pero eso se los contaré después… jajaja.

Something important to highlight is that I managed to find a PC table to install the equipment. That worried me but luckily that issue was resolved, and without any expenses involved because the table belonged to my parents, XD. It's a bit old but I'm planning to improve it until I can buy a new one. I already had a keyboard stored around so I didn't hesitate to use it, with the bad surprise that it was badly damaged and the PC couldn't read it. Regarding the Mouse, well, I also had to buy a new one but I'll tell you about that later... hahaha.

Este fue un pequeño paso que tuve que dar por muchas razones, y que al principio fue difícil. Sin embargo estoy muy feliz con mi nueva PC, sé que no es mucho pero por algo se empieza, tal como dice mi papá, XD. ¿Y adivinen qué? Este Post lo estoy escribiendo con mi nueva adquisición, jajaja. No mentiré, a veces me pierdo con tantas cosas nuevas pero poco a poco voy aprendiendo. Nada de esto hubiera sido posible sin Dios y Hive; de alguna manera este ecosistema blockchian ha cambiado mi vida, y eso me hace feliz porque las oportunidades que acá existen son reales; con trabajo, esmero, dedicación y sobre todo creatividad todo es realmente posible.
