Sin embargo, habrá géneros de videojuegos que nos gustarán más que otros, y eso dependerá del tipo de emociones y entretenimiento que logre cautivarnos sin atraer al tan temible aburrimiento. ¿Te gusta la acción? ¿Quizás amas la aventura? ¿Exploración? ¿O prefieres títulos jugables relajantes? Al momento de buscar un videojuego en la Playstore, por ejemplo, tiendo a filtrar las búsquedas según mis gustos; esto para evitar descargar títulos que luego no me terminan gustando. Ahora bien, ¿cómo sé qué puede gustarme y qué no? Al principio, como Gamers novatos, nos toca descubrirlo con la experiencia, o sea, hay que probar distintos tipos de videojuegos para conocer si nos va bien o mal con ellos. Entre tantísimos géneros que existen siempre destacan los más prominentes: los que albergan más popularidad y fama. Quizás esa corriente es la que atrae a los jugadores, devenida por un título jugable que suele ser muy bueno como, por ejemplo, el reciente remake de Resident Evil IV. Puede que no te guste el horror pero quizás digas:
“¡Al diablo lo jugaré de todas formas!” LOL.
Digo esto porque es muy común que la fama de algunos videojuegos termine ayudándote a descubrir tu gusto por un género u otro y en el peor de los casos tu odio también, jajaja. Pero, dejando a un lado la popularidad y lo que marcan las tendencias, uno puede conseguirse con títulos muy buenos y fascinantes que incluso hasta son infravalorados. En todo caso dependerá, desde luego, de tus preferencias.

Videojuegos de Aventuras
Los videojuegos de aventura son muy populares y me atrevería a decir que los más amplios en aspectos jugables. Normalmente se mezcla la magia, un cumulo de héroes y un viaje extraordinario para cumplir con una misión de vida o muerte, aunque estos lineamientos no son estándares y se pueden encontrar títulos que combinan la acción, el horror, el drama e incluso la supervivencia para engordar el espectro de ese viaje que suele ser o reparador o destructivo. Sagas como The Last Of Us, God Of War e incluso el propio Resident Evil demuestran que este género no escatima en limitaciones a la hora de bosquejar una jugabilidad de muchos matices, algo que enloquece sin duda a cualquier jugador.
La aventura, mientras se sepa edificar en un videojuego, siempre conducirá a escenarios fascinantes en los que se encuentran historias con toques épicos. Los mundos normalmente son amplios e incluso se desarrollan con personajes profundos. Hay combates, rescates, huidas, secuestros, y por supuesto una gran misión por cumplir. La variedad de títulos es diversa y en ocasiones transforma la temática heroica con recursos impensables, como es el caso del Videojuego Stray.
Claro que los videojuegos de aventura también están disponibles para Smartphone, y en mi caso particular me encanta SKY: Niños de la Luz. Es el que juego por su maravilloso diseño sonoro y grafico, además de que la travesía del héroe es un camino a la redención. Si te gustan los viajes mágicos, peligrosos o de mucha acción entonces este género es para ti.
Adventure Video Games
Adventure video games are very popular and I would dare to say that they are the widest in playable aspects. Normally magic, a host of heroes and an extraordinary journey are mixed to fulfill a mission of life or death, although these guidelines are not standard and you can find titles that combine action, horror, drama and even survival to fatten the spectrum of that trip that is usually either restorative or destructive. Sagas like The Last Of Us, God Of War and even Resident Evil itself show that this genre spares no limitations when it comes to sketching a gameplay with many nuances, something that will undoubtedly drive any player crazy.
The adventure, as long as it is known how to build in a video game, will always lead to fascinating settings in which stories with epic touches are found. The worlds are usually wide and even developed with deep characters. There are combats, rescues, escapes, kidnappings, and of course a great mission to accomplish. The variety of titles is diverse and sometimes transforms the heroic theme with unthinkable resources, as is the case with the Video Game Stray.
Of course, adventure video games are also available for Smartphones, and in my particular case I love SKY: Niños de la Luz. It's the one I play because of its wonderful sound and graphic design, plus the hero's journey is a path to redemption. If you like magical, dangerous or action-packed journeys then this genre is for you.

Videojuegos de Plataformas
Si alguna vez has jugado Super Mario Bros ya has conocido entonces lo que significa sumergirse en un videojuego de plataformas. Los obstáculos o los Puzles jugarán en tu contra cuando se trata de este género, pues lo más común es que avances por una desquiciada serie de aéreas en las que cualquiera cosita puede eliminarte. Nuestra querida Lara Croft (del videojuego, XD) sabe de lo que les hablo, ¿no es así Lara? Lástima que no esté para respondernos, LOL.
De los juegos de plataformas es que surgen esos saltos imprevistos, por ejemplo, a la hora de esquivar un obstáculo o saltar un precipicio, jajaja. Este género es muy amplio en cuanto a jugabilidad, ¡incluso hay títulos que cuidan mucho la estática y la musicalización! El entretenimiento se convierte en un reto que puede durar horas y horas sin aburrimiento de por medio. Para Smartphone hay muchos títulos disponibles, y creo que los más habituales son de este tipo. Si eres un aficionado de los puzles, los obstáculos y la estética que llevó a la fama a Mario Bros, entonces debes incursionar en este género maravilloso.
Platform Games

The obstacles or the Puzzles will work against you when it comes to this genre, since the most common thing is that you advance through a crazy series of areas in which any little thing can eliminate you. This genre is very broad in terms of gameplay, there are even titles that take great care of static and music! Entertainment becomes a challenge that can last for hours and hours without boredom. For Smartphone there are many titles available, and I think the most common are of this type. If you are a fan of puzzles, obstacles and the aesthetics that brought Mario Bros to fame, then you should venture into this wonderful genre.

Cuando escucho Shooters lo primero que se me viene a la mente es Call Of Duty Mobile, lol. La temática de los juegos de disparos suele ser más violenta y guarda consigo temas que pueden ser controversiales, como las mafias, las guerras o simplemente las ganas de disparar, XD. Es un género con mucha popularidad; es la manera en la que un jugador puede desahogar sus ganas de ser un soldado aunque no quiera serlo en la vida real. La rivalidad entre equipos se convierte en algo personal, y las partidas que suelen jugarse son literalmente un cuna para las balas.
Claro que la jugabilidad ya dependerá del juego en cuestión, algunos enfrentan a los jugadores (Battle Royal) mientras que otros buscan darles misiones especificas que cumplir; a veces son ambas cosas. Títulos como Counter Strike, Call of Duty, PUBG Mobile o Free Fire son algunos ejemplos. ¿Te atreverías a ser el mejor pistolero del mundo de los videojuegos? Si quieres vivir dosis extra de adrenalina y diversión los Shooters son excelentes para ti.

Videojuegos RPG - MMORPG
Finalmente uno de los géneros de videojuegos que más órganos causan en un jugador: los RPG, jajaja. Lo que hace atractivo a los títulos nacidos bajo la imprenta del “Rol” es su gran complejidad y la libertad que brinda al usuario para la toma de decisiones y la construcción de su propio mundo, a su medida, a su gusto y desde luego según los recursos con los que disponga. Hay exploración y lo mejor de todo: la gran parte de estos juegos son cooperativos, ¡una buena manera de compartir con tus amigos! Títulos como Elden Ring o Dark Soul hacen honor al género.
No puedo dejar de mencionar en este apartado a los MMORPG, ¿qué son? Bueno: Runescape, del que no tengo buenos recuerdos, es uno de ellos. Para aclarar las cosas: puedes jugar con gente de todo el mundo mundial, interactuar con ellos e incluso permitirte desafiarlos según sea el videojuego. ¿Interesante no? Es lo que permite que este género sea tan popular.

I cannot fail to mention MMORPGs in this section, what are they? Well: Runescape, which I don't have good memories of, is one of them. To clarify things: you can play with people from all over the world, interact with them and even allow yourself to challenge them depending on the game. Interesting, right?
