Una de las cosas que hago cuando termino de leer cada libro es registrarlos en cada una de mis aplicaciones dedicadas a esto. Son tres, por ahora. Esto lo hago porque estoy realizando un estudio profundo de todo lo que puedo hacer con cada una de estas aplicaciones. Sin embargo, esto no me impide seguir buscando otras opciones para seguir comparando.
La aplicación de la que les quiero hablar hoy se trata de Basmo, una app que registra nuestro progreso en las lecturas.

Lo primero que debemos hacer es instalarla. Cuando entramos a la aplicación, empieza a indagar de nuestros objetivos con respecto a la lectura. Hay varias opciones, la mía personal es lograr mis objetivos de cantidad de libros al año. Así que empieza a hacer las preguntas correspondientes.

The first thing we need to do is install it. When we open the app, it starts asking us about our reading goals. There are several options; my personal goal is to read a certain number of books per year. So it starts asking the corresponding questions.

Para empezar a utilizarla solo nos pide el libro que estamos leyendo en este momento. Yo agregué el actual. Y la propia aplicación me dice que para lograr mi objetivo anual debo leer al menos 62 minutos al día.

Está claro que aún no he empezado a utilizarlo, y por un momento me pareció innecesario, porque pensé que solo debía mantener la aplicación rodando mientras me marcaba el tiempo de lectura y esto ya lo hace Bookmory. Sin embargo, la diferencia radica, justamente, en el hecho de avisar cuanto tiempo te falta o debes utilizar para lograr tu objetivo de lectura.

It's clear that I haven't started using it yet, and for a moment it seemed unnecessary to me, because I thought I should just keep the app running while it tracked my reading time, and Bookmory already does that. However, the difference lies precisely in the fact that it tells you how much time you have left or need to use to achieve your reading goal.

Para mi propio uso no me parece adecuado, pero porque yo ya tengo mi hábito de lectura creado y voy bastante bien. Pero si eres una persona que quieres empezar a leer y empezar a crear este hábito, me parece que la aplicación está muy buena para iniciar en este maravilloso mundo.
