Hace poco conseguí a alguien que tenía un Kindle con su nombre de dispositivo con unas florecitas muy lindas. Obviamente, al ver eso, quise cambiarle el nombre y seguir haciendo aún más mío el segundo dispositivo que más utilizo. Así, después de indagar mucho, conseguí como realizarlo y aquí les traigo este pequeño tutorial por si tienes un Kindle y quieres personalizar tu dispositivo.

Today I'm here with a post that, although it may seem like it's about books, can be useful to everyone.I recently met someone who had a Kindle with a very cute flower design on the device name. Obviously, when I saw that, I wanted to change the name and make the second device I use most even more my own. So, after doing a lot of research, I figured out how to do it, and here's a little tutorial for you if you have a Kindle and want to personalize your device.
Lo primero que hay que hacer es entrar a amazon.com. Para los que no saben que es un Kindle y se interesaron en seguir leyendo esta publicación, un Kindle es un dispositivo creado para leer. Su tecnología es de tinta electrónica (como la de las calculadoras) y tiene solo una pequeña luz led que retroilumina la pantalla y esto hace que al momento de leer no te cause daños en los ojos. Este dispositivo es desarrollado exclusivamente por Amazon, y es por esto que debe estar enlazado con esta cuenta.
Una vez dentro de la página, ubicamos nuestros dispositivos. Pueden ver que tengo varios aparatos de Amazon, y ubico mi Kindle porque se llama "Kindle de Natalia" (Básico).

Antes de cambiarle el nombre, debemos buscar una página que los de símbolos o íconos. Yo escogí https://es.piliapp.com/symbol/. Les comento, que funciona también para agregarlos a nuestros títulos de las publicaciones, solo les pido que no abusen 🤣. Justamente agregué unas comillas al título para demostrar que funcionan. Ubicamos el símbolo que más nos guste, copiamos y regresamos a la página de Amazon.

Before changing the name, we need to find a page that has symbols or icons. I chose https://es.piliapp.com/symbol/. I should mention that this also works for adding them to our publication titles, but please don't abuse it 🤣. I just added some quotation marks to the title to show that they work. Find the symbol you like best, copy it, and return to the Amazon page.

A continuación, ponemos el nombre que más nos guste. Tienes libre creatividad para hacerlo. Yo simplemente puse el diminutivo de mi nombre y agregué una florecilla. He visto que le dan un nombre a sus dispositivos, como si fueran una mascota. En mi caso, no llego a eso.

Next, we enter the name we like best. You have free rein to be creative. I simply used the diminutive form of my name and added a little flower. I've seen people give their devices names, as if they were pets. In my case, I don't go that far.

Lo siguiente es esperar que se actualice el Kindle y fijarnos que cambie el nombre. En mi caso, lo mantengo en modo avión para alargar la carga, así que se lo quité y esperé a que apareciera. Y es todo.

The next step is to wait for the Kindle to update and check that the name has changed. In my case, I keep it in airplane mode to extend the charge, so I turned it off and waited for it to appear. And that's it.
