I've been pretty busy with work, and due to fatigue, I haven't been here (plus the low ratings), but hey, here we are again. It was my birthday recently, and I wanted to tell you about my 24th birthday here in my new home in Spain. I hope you like it...
Bueno inicialmente me levanté como un día cualquiera, ese día no fui al trabajo ya que casualmente mis jefes se fueron de vacaciones y bueno quedé esa semana "Libre" por así decirlo. Mi esposa me decía para salir y que me tenía regalitos y bueno uno de ellos fue un koala o "riñonera" como dicen aquí en España ya que el que tenía estaba muy deteriorado y ella me lo regaló.
Well, initially, I woke up like any other day. That day, I didn't go to work because my bosses were on vacation, so I was "off" that week, so to speak. My wife told me to go out and that she had some gifts for me. One of them was a koala, or "fanny pack," as they say here in Spain. The one I had was very worn out, and she gave it to me.
Cómo dato curioso es que como la mayoría de amistades y familiares están del otro lado del mundo o mejor dicho yo estoy del otro lado del mundo el cambio horario tuvo efecto, mientras yo estaba aquí despierto ellos estaban durmiendo o estaban aún de madrugada, al principio pensé "nadie lo recordó" y luego el que recordó fui yo que el cambio horario de España con respecto a Venezuela y América es fuerte y más ahora en Verano que son 6 horas.
As a curious fact, since most of my friends and family are on the other side of the world, or rather, I am on the other side of the world, the time change took effect. While I was awake here, they were sleeping or were still in the early morning. At first, I thought, "Nobody remembered," and then I was the one who remembered that the time change in Spain compared to Venezuela and America is strong, and even more so now in the summer, when it's 6 hours.
Antes de ir al centro comercial pasamos primero por el que está en la estación de Renfe de Fuenlabrada y comimos en uno de mis lugares favoritos aquí en España llamado TacoBell y es que es muy rico 😁😋
Before going to the mall we first stopped by the one at the Fuenlabrada Renfe station and ate at one of my favorite places here in Spain called TacoBell and it's delicious 😁😋
Cómo no teníamos un plan tan en concreto mi esposa me comentó para salir a algún centro comercial o algo por el estilo y es ahí donde recaemos en el centro comercial Oasis que está ubicado en Soto del Henares.
Since we didn't have a specific plan, my wife suggested we go to a shopping center or something like that, and that's where we ended up at the Oasis shopping center, located in Soto del Henares.
Antes de comentarles mi experiencia en el centro comercial les cuento sobre los otros regalos que me hizo mi esposa que fueron unos audífonos y un reloj inteligente que la verdad me encantaron muchísimo.
Before telling you about my experience at the mall, I'll tell you about the other gifts my wife gave me, which were headphones and a smart watch that I really loved.
Bueno ya entrando en la experiencia del centro comercial como les dije se llama "Oasiz" y bueno como cualquier centro comercial aquí en Madrid (Por no decir toda España) quedan algo retirados de las estaciones de metro, renfe y hasta de buses. Este en particular es súper bonito, le hace honor a su nombre ya que cuenta con unos chorros donde hay como un espectáculo de luces, música y agua al son que le pongan.
Well, getting into the shopping center experience, as I told you, it's called "Oasiz." Like any shopping center here in Madrid (not to mention all of Spain), it's a bit far from the metro, train, and even bus stations. This one in particular is super pretty; it lives up to its name, with fountains that feature a light show, music, and water to the beat.
Ese día el cielo estaba muy bonito y tomamos todas las fotos posibles, los colores del cielo hacían mucho contraste con nosotros y el entorno. Me encantaron las fotos realmente. Mi esposa siempre busca la forma que yo esté feliz y que una ocasión como mi cumpleaños no pase desapercibida o "por debajo de la mesa" como quién dice.
That day the sky was beautiful, and we took as many photos as possible. The colors of the sky contrasted so beautifully with us and the surroundings. I truly loved the photos. My wife always finds a way to make me happy and ensure that an occasion like my birthday doesn't go unnoticed or "under the radar," so to speak.
Ya a lo último de disfrutar el día un amigo apareció ya que su vivienda queda por la misma via del centro comercial por así decirlo así que decidió aparecer y nos comimos un pastel y bueno él siempre con sus ocurrencias. No lo vemos siempre pero es una amistad que tenemos presente, por lógica es más amigo de mis esposa que mío pero se ha ganado mi confianza y Fabián (alias Fabius) ha demostrado ser un buen amigo.
Toward the end of our day, a friend showed up. His house is right on the same street as the mall, so to speak. So he decided to show up, and we had a cake. Well, he's always up to his old tricks. We don't see him all the time, but he's a friend we remember. Logically, he's more of a friend to my wife than to me, but he's earned my trust, and Fabián (aka Fabius) has proven to be a good friend.
Y eso fue todo amigos, no fue el grandísimo cumpleaños ya que fue el primero fuera de mi país pero igual lo disfrute al lado de personas que amo y aprecio. Dios mediante vendrán cosas mejores. Gracias a todos por leer. Hasta la próxima 🙏🏻😁
