Hello Hivers, Newbie Here.
I am thrilled that I finally joined this platform or community. This is my introduction blog and I am happy to introduce myself to all of you.
I am a native of Cebu City, Philippines, and I hold a degree of Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration. My name is Junjie, but you can call me "Jie". I am 27 years old. Many of you will claim that because of the nature of my job, customs employees are extremely wealthy, but I'm not. Before I received my degree, I had to go through a lot of hardship and hard work, thanks to my parents, Celyn and Junjun, who raised me well and invested their blood, sweat, and tears to send me to school. My father is a security guard, and my mother is a housewife. My father just made the minimum income at his job, but he was able to send me to a good school here in Cebu. My folks are more than just average parents; they are my Superparents and Heroes. They shaped me into who I am today or who I aspire to be. All of my hard work now is for my parents.
My favorite Bible scripture that motivates me every day is Isaiah 60:22, which says, "When the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen." I truly believe that God will fulfill my dreams in His own perfect timing.
I enjoy cooking and playing sports such as basketball, despite the fact that I am only 5'3" tall, which is a little short for basketball, but I thrive as a point guard nonetheless. I'm proud to say that my team and I won one championship in a local league here in Cebu, the ABCC friendship Cup.
I joined this platform because I enjoy writing and sharing my accomplishments in life, not to brag, but to inspire others. I believe that with my knowledge, skills , experiences and hobbies, I can share and contribute more to this community. I first heard about the Hive platform from my girlfriend's sister, but I wasn't too interested at first until It was introduced to me by @jedum and he guides me well, that's made me decide to join.
Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction blog. I appreciate your time and patience, and I hope we can grow together and encourage each other.
Cheers Everyone!
