My dear Hive friends as I have told you in previous posts about the Abuelitas Lindas Project where I volunteer, whose intention is nothing more than to make them feel that they are still productive, and that they can perform tasks with focus and strength.
On this occasion we managed through a Godfather, chef Franklin Sulbarán, to offer a free culinary afternoon to encourage teamwork, participation and joy for these grandmothers.
We were able to get the right space with a kitchen, the Apep Nuclearized Workshop Center, which operates in my community and they are always willing to provide their space for activities that benefit the community for free
.
It was an afternoon of excitement, since they did not know what they were going to prepare, the chef gave them a small induction of the meaning of their clothing, hygiene rules, dictated their recipe that was endorsed by a nutritionist friend, for which we were grateful for taking into account their health conditions.
The menu consisted of fresh steamed vegetables, potatoes dipped in parsley, mozzarella cheese, olive oil and baked spices, and a chicken gordon blue seasoned with parsley, stuffed with low-fat mozzarella cheese, for dessert lechoza cut into thin pieces and topped with lemon drops.
After the preparation and participation of the grandmothers in teams, the sharing table was organized and the grandmothers were attended by the students of the IV Semester of Tourism of the Hotel Escuela, who supported the activity and paid attention to the grandmothers as if they were in a five-star restaurant
.
How gratifying it is to see them active, even with their disabilities, their slowness, their pains, they are ready to participate, create, laugh and enjoy

Mis queridos amigos de Hive como les he comentado en post anteriores sobre el Proyecto de Abuelitas Lindas donde soy voluntaria, cuya intención no es más que hacerlas sentir que aún son productivas, y que pueden realizar tareas con concentración y fuerza.
Logramos conseguir el espacio indicado con cocina, el Centro de Talleres Nuclearizado Apep, que funciona en mi comunidad y siempre estan prestos a facilitar sus espacios para actividades que beneficien a la comunidad de forma gratuita
Fue una tarde de emoción, ya que no sabían que iban a preparar, el cheff les dio una pequeña inducción del significado de su indumentaria, normas de higiene, les dicto su receta que fue avalada por un nutricionista amigo, por lo cuál estuvimos agradecidas por tomar en cuenta sus condiciones de salud.
El menú consistió en la preparación de vegetales frescos al vapor,papas bañadas en perejil,queso mozarella,aceite oliva y especies al horno, y un gordon blue de pollo aderezado con perejil,rellenos de queso mozarella bajo en grasa, de postre lechoza cortada en finos trozos y cubierta con gotas de limón.
Luego de la preparación y participación en quipos de las abuelitas, se organizó la mesa del compartir siendo atendidas las abuelitas por las estudiantes del IV Semestre de Turismo del Hotel Escuela, quienes se solidarizaron con la actividad y prestaron atención a las abuelitas como si estuvieran en un restaurant cinco estrellas
Que grtificante es verlas activas, que así sea con sus discapacaidades, lentitud, sus dolores están prestar a participar, crear, reir y disfrutar
