Good day, my dear hivers!
@itsmemic once again ! And today, I want to share our friends’ outing—something I honestly didn’t expect would happen since we’re all busy and, well, kind of broke. But surprisingly, this get-together finally pushed through!
These friends of mine are also working students, just like me. However, I’m the youngest in the group, and the only psychology student, while the three of them are fourth-year commerce students.
The Start of Our Day
Started our day at nine in the morning, planning to meet at the home of my friend, who is skilled at riding motorcycles. Their home is a bit far and hard to reach, but this did not matter, since our way to the beach required us to go through that area.
I let my ate friends decide which beach to visit because they were more familiar with the area.
We rode a motorcycle, with two of us as passengers. The ride was fun because, on the way, we kept reminding the driver to slow down, while also chatting about life and how stressful things can be.
One of our friends was already waiting by the highway, near the beach we planned to visit.
A Quick Market Stop
Before heading to the beach, two of my ameyga (friends) and I stopped by the market to buy food and snacks. We all pitched in to cover the expenses.
When we reached a corner along the way, we stopped to wait for another friend. Since she wasn’t allowed to drive yet, her brother dropped her off instead.
While waiting, I took the chance to buy warm water from a nearby store—and of course, I also took some pictures of my friends from afar!
The Beach Adventure Begins
We chose Anapog Public Beach at San Remegio since it had no entrance fee and have lovely sand. Despite the large number of people when we got there, we were still able to find a good place.
We set up our things, placing all our food on a mat. Then, we checked with our friend (the one whose brother dropped her off) if she brought the utensils, plates, and other essentials*—since she was assigned that responsibility by my two *ate. Thankfully, she did, so we arranged everything and took some quick photos before eating.
Enjoying the View
While my ameyga were swimming, I took pictures of the beautiful coconut trees, the beach, and the amazing weather. The place was truly stunning!
One downside, though, was that there was no comfort room at the beach. So, instead of struggling, we just washed up at our friend’s house, which was nearby.
And that’s all for today’s blog, my dear hivers! Thank you for reading and joining me on this fun, unplanned but much-needed beach getaway. Until next time!
