Hello, my dear Hivers!
Today, I will share my experience when we presented our resumes and application letters for formality since people in the (PPA) office already knew that we were going to duty there.
Yesterday around this time, I was finalizing my papers. I originally planned to print them at home, but I felt that there could still be some changes in the name or details, so I just saved the documents and decided to print them across the school. I also wanted to ask others what they put as the recipient since we hadn’t received an update in our group chat yet.
One of my classmates and batchmates who was also assigned to PPA told me he’d be going to school around 12 PM, so I replied, “Okay kuya, I’ll go at 12 too.”
When I arrived, I went straight to the printing shop and good thing one of my classmates had already sent a sample, so I just copy the recipient part. By the way, when I went at the printing shop a girl reached in front of me, so of course, she got the first service, and it took a long time.
A few minutes later, my friend Angelie, who was assigned to another place, messaged me where I was and where I was printing. I replied, "Beside the school," because I thought the shop across the school was still closed since it was around 12 PM, and they usually have a lunch break. But Angelie told me it was already open! So I decided to go there instead. I informed the kuya at the first shop, “Kuya, I’ll just step outside for a bit,” and then another kuya at the back said, “What do you need printed, Inday? I can print it for you just send it.”
Minutes later, my files were all printed. I also bought a brown envelope in advance to put the papers in.
By then, I had stepped into the school premises and taken straight to the office to drop off some documents and get the stickers we needed to paste into our journal notebooks. Finally, I just sat in the student lounge with some of my classmates, dragging my mini fan along as it was blazing hot. We took turns using the fan since my classmates were feeling hot too. While they were borrowing it, I did a little retouch. After that, I pasted the stickers into my journal.
We hadn’t left yet because we were waiting for another classmate, so we were just hanging around and sharing our ideas about probation, asking each other questions.
While we were waiting, it was already around 2 PM, almost 3, when Verjane told us that the office might close by 3 PM, based on what her mom said. But when we asked some of our seniors who were previously assigned there, they said it wasn’t closed yet, so we were patiently waiting for our other classmates there. When we were waiting, it started raining, and I was a little worried that the road could be muddy. After a few minutes, our classmate went inside, and we gathered together. First, kuya and some of our batchmates planned to ride their motorcycles, but they backed out due to the anticipated mud. So in the end, we all took tricycles instead, two tricycles in total.
The roads were wet, but what surprised us was that as we went further, the road ahead wasn’t wet at all like, totally dry! So we were all shocked and thought maybe it had only rained near the school. We all laughed about it.
Anyway, here's a 0.5 shot that I took with my batchmates.
And that’s all for today’s blog, my dear Hivers! Thanks for reading!
