Hello, Hivers! I’m really excited to share about my day. Today, I went out with my family and relatives—on my mother's side—for a special gathering.

Family Gathering and Travel:
We traveled by car to the cemetery in Medellin, just like we usually do. We brought two cars, and some of my uncles chose to ride their motorcycles instead.
You might be wondering why my grandfather was buried here, even though we're from Ilihan. Well, my grandfather was originally from Curva, and since his mother was also buried here, it made sense for him to be laid to rest in the same place.
Visiting the Cemetery:
My uncles visit here regularly, but for me, it has been a while since my last visit.
Food and Drinks:
Before heading to the cemetery, one of my uncles bought food, and we decided to get Jollibee family boxes. Another uncle brought soft drinks—especially Coca-Cola, since our family really loves it.
Arrival and Set-Up:
When we arrived, our relatives were already there, and they had set up a nice spot for everyone.
Honestly, I get incredibly emotional every time we return here because it brings back memories of our joyful days with Grandpa. I feel both happy and sad at the same time since I miss him so much.
Standing in this place, I can almost hear his laughter and recall the stories he used to tell. It brings warmth to my heart, yet there’s an ache knowing he’s no longer with us. It seems as though he was here yesterday, leading us with his love and knowledge, because the memories are so clear. It's a bittersweet experience.
Family Lunch:
Going back, we then placed all the foods.
While my uncle was preparing everything, my little cousin was playing around with her brother. She looked so adorable!
And here they are, smiling sweetly while sitting down. They were so well-behaved! Some of my younger cousins were playing nearby, so they weren’t sitting right next to others in the picture.
Reflections on Family Time:
Visiting with my family makes it even more meaningful. We share stories, reminisce about his kindness, and find comfort in each other. In a way, coming here keeps his presence alive in our hearts, reminding us of the love that never fades, even beyond life.
