Hello everyone!! it's Keith-Allen back again to tell you about this memorable house in Mainit and also to celebrate Mother's Day. Hope you all enjoy reading about it!
WELCOME HOME🏡
This is our home in Mainit. It used to be a small sari sari store. But due to a landslide, we had to move here for safety. So, the store became our temporary home. It feels really special to be back here after so many months. I still remember all the good times we had in this house.
This is my cousin's house. It's like a hangout spot for me because its hayahay(refreshing) here. We often utang stuff here HAHAHAHAHHA. Most of the time, we drink soft drinks, but I got a urinary tract infection (UTI) from drinking too much💩. So now, I try not to drink soft drinks, just a little😅, but I drink plenty of water. Also, I set up a little display of things we used to sell before, like pancakes and juice. I also sell barbecue here sometimes.
This is where I take a bathe🛁. I like it here because there's unlimited water, unlike in the relocation, where water is limited. The hose is connected to a spring in the mountains, so water never runs out. Many hoses are connected there too. Sometimes, the water in the spring runs out. And the water from the spring connected to our hose is called "mainit". That's why people believe it's warm because it's connected to a dead volcano. So in the morning, the water from the hose is hot; it's like a hot spring. It's very nice to bathe, especially in the morning. And look at that cr right there, Its very small HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA.
IT'S TIME TO EAT!!
My family is eating, but I'm not because I'm already full. They are busy eating sa-ang (conch) with soup, while I'm using a hammer to crack open the crab shells since they're very hard to open.
This is sa-ang ( conch ). I'm struggling to open that fvc*** shells. It makes me ranged😡😡. Im using my full force smashing that shells so that my family can eat the inside of shells👌.
THE RIVER IS NOW DEAD?
Now we're heading to the mango tree to relax. I'm surprised by the changes to the river view because it's very different now, everything change mn gyud. It used to be very clean and full of water, with lots of children playing and mothers doing laundry. And now the river is dry. Its sad to say that the river is dead😞.
Look at this beautiful water lily! It's the first time in many years that there are water lilies in the river in Mainit. It's probably because the river dried up a bit, leaving some water behind for the lilies to grow. It's nice to have water lilies because they provide food for the fish and a place for them to live. I also have a lot of pictures, and I'll show them here.
I hope you enjoy the pictures of water lilies!!😏
MANGGO TREE!!
We are heading out under the mango tree to get some fresh air because my cousin said the breeze here is nice. So, we came right away because, you know, it's really hot these days.
There's also a goat pen here, the owner of that goat is my uncle. It was just put up recently because it’s nice to have a pen there where it's shady.
This is the mango tree I was talking about. It used to be very big with many branches and leaves. But now, it’s much smaller because of Typhoon Odette. After the typhoon, there weren't even any leaves left, it looks like a skeleton HAHAHAHAHA. Because of that strong typhoon oddete. And now our mango tree is still stay strong because the mango tree is still bearing fruit.💪
The mango we got from the tree is really tasty🤤, even though it's a bit buak (ripe). We dip it with salt, and it was so good that it made our mouths water🤤🤤🤤. I forgot to take a picture of it, saded.
Of course, we need speakers for our road trip because it's really boring without music. It also helps us relax and enjoy the breeze while listening, making it feel almost like we're in paradise👼🌅. And we were also singing around; we don't care if our voices are cracked. The most important thing is that we're having fun😏.
SEE YOU AGAIN MAINIT🥺
After hanging out under the mango tree, our parents called us to go home. Gi stop our relaxation, unfortunately😑👍. Next time I come back to Mainit, I'll make sure to return to this mango tree spot. It's really nice to relax there.
Bruh, my aunt just brought over a big bag and bucket of mangoes. I think she's planning to sell them. Sneaky business strategy HAHAHAHAHA.
That's all everyone, thank you for reading my bloog!!!
