Well, I tell you that this weekend I went to Ciudad Flamingo, which are vacation homes for tourists here in the state of Falcón, and I relaxed. I went to the pool, I spent time with friends, I took my daughters and we took advantage of singing birthdays to a goddaughter who turned 15. She is a very special girl and we all gave her that gift, which I know she enjoyed a lot. Like me, it helped me a lot to de-stress.
Bueno les cuento que este fin de semana me fuí para Ciudad Flamingo, que son casas vacacionales para turistas aquí en el estado Falcón, y me relajé. Fuí a la piscina, compartí con amigos, me llevé mis hijas y aprovechamos de cantarle cumpleaños a una ahijada que cumplió 15 años. Ella es una niña muy especial y entre todos le dimos ese regalo, lo cual sé que disfrutó bastante. Al igual que yo, me sirvió mucho para desestresarme.
Besides, I tell you that I felt very pleasant among my friends, they, like me, were distracted by playing, joking and having fun in the pool. I had a very good time, very pleasant indeed. I relaxed a lot, which I needed a lot. That's good, to have gotten out of the routine. I stayed two nights and three days in Flamingo. I took photos of my daughters, my goddaughter, her sister, my friends singing birthdays. We really had a lot of fun.
Aparte, les cuento que me sentí muy agradable entre mis amistades ellas igual que yo, nos distrajimos jugando, bromeando y nos divertimos en la piscina. Lo pasé muy bien, muy agradable de verdad. Me relajé bastante, que lo necesitaba mucho. Eso es bueno, haberme salido de la rutina. Estuve dos noches y tres días en Flamingo. Le tiré fotos a mis hijas, a mi ahijada, a su hermana, a mis amigos cantando cumpleaños. De verdad que nos divertimos bastante.
I felt tranquility, peace, and of course, I relaxed. I know that my friends relaxed, we all feel very good. It was a nice sharing that I liked, and that's why I wanted to share my story with you. Since due to health reasons, worries and small concerns, I had not written, but I am back and sharing with you a moment that meant a lot to me.
Sentí una tranquilidad, una paz, y claro, me relajé. Sé que mis amistades se relajaron, todos nos sentimos muy bien. Fue un agradable compartir que me gustó, y por eso quise compartirles mi historia. Ya que por cuestiones de salud, preocupaciones y pequeñas inquietudes, no había escrito, pero estoy de vuelta y compartiendo con ustedes un momento que para mí significó mucho.

Aparte, que me sentí muy bien, aunque después se vuelva a la realidad, pero pasé un agradable momento. Espero les guste. Which we have been like this for 6 years, treating each other like family. Something pleasant and always remembering that what one takes with them at the end of life are the moments lived. What better experience to live with the family? For me, my friend Nepyali Andara is super special. I met her when I arrived here in San Juan de los Cayos, 6 years ago.
La cual llevamos 6 años así, tratándonos como familia. Algo agradable y siempre recordando que lo que uno se lleva al final de la vida son los momentos vividos. ¿Qué mejor experiencia para vivirlo con la familia? Para mí, mi amiga Nepyali Andara es súper especial. Yo la conocí cuando llegué aquí a San Juan de los Cayos, hace ya 6 años.
And truly, she has been my friend, my partner, she became my acquaintance and now she is my sister. For me she is like a sister. If she has it, it's like I have it. And if I have it, it's like she has it too.
Y de verdad que ha sido mi amiga, mi compañera, llegó a ser mi conocida y ahorita es mi hermana. Para mí es como una hermana. Si ella tiene es como si yo tuviera. Y si yo tengo, es como ella también tiene.
And my other friend, Victoria. She is the smallest. I met her when she still didn't have children or anything. And now she has two children and she is my godmother and it is like she is another daughter for me.
Y mi otra amiga, Victoria. Ella es la más pequeña. A ella la conocí cuando ella aún no tenía ni hijos ni nada. Y ahorita ella tiene dos hijos y es mi comadrita y es como que fuera una hija mas para mi.
Seriously, I´ve shared very pleasant moments with her. Well, those are my friends, my family, my sisters, my colleagues. And really, how good to feel like family. And really, thank you to everyone who made it to the end of my story.
