Last week I was lucky enough to share with my cousins, who came to Olmué -the city where I live- to get their driver's license. Although their visit was brief and the main focus was to take the test, we managed to take advantage of some moments to be together, laugh and talk like in the old days. This little roll of photos doesn't capture the whole visit, but it does capture those key moments: just before they took the test, with their nerves on edge, and then afterwards, with their relieved (and in some cases, celebratory) faces. I love having these simple but meaningful memories, where life stops for a bit to make room for the shared everyday. Because sometimes it's not about big plans, it's about being there, present for each other, even in things as small as getting a driver's license.
