Hello again, everyone, @lorene08 herewith yet another thrilling blog to share!
School is about to start, right? Are you all excited? Well, if you ask me, its a big N-O! HAHAHAHA. I mean, when have I ever been excited when it comes to school? LOL! Anyway, last 11th of June, my two cousins, John and Roxy, and I thought of getting some school supplies and doing some errands in Bogo City.
🪡 8:16 a.m.
Since my cousin from Mindanao will be staying here for good, he transferred to our school. So, we went to one of our trusted tailors in our barangay to get his measurements for his school uniform. We also needed to know how much fabric we should buy in Bogo (this is the main reason why we chose to buy our school supplies there, even though there are many stores in San Remigio too).
After that, we went to Roxy's house (she lives near us) to tell her that we were done with the measurements. Then, her older brother dropped us off at school.
🏫 8:20 a.m.
We were at school as we needed to ask the Grade 12 head coordinator why John still didn't have an assigned class section (since already 9 sections for HUMSS had already been released). Unfortunately, the school guard informed us we couldn't enterbecause the teachers were conductinga seminar with other schools. The guard said we could talk to the teachers outside the school laboratory. Since Roxy was speaking with the guard, only she could enter. It did not take long, Roxy returned and informed us that the teacher informedher that John's section would be givenon Monday (June 16) since the registrar was still working on his documents.
By 8:53 a.m., we were about to leave the school. While waiting for a bus, we saw Mommy (Roxy’s mom’s sister), and we had a little chat. We waited for a bus because it’s much cheaper than a tricycle, only 15 pesos for students, while a tricycle costs 50 pesos 😬.
🚌 9:10 a.m.
Finally, a bus arrived. Thankfully, it wasn’t air-conditioned (I don’t really like riding air-conditioned buses or vans, LOL). The ride was normal, I chatted with Roxy while John used my phone (I don’t use gadgets when riding a bus). I even paid for our fare since it was only 15 pesos each.
🚶♀️ 9:35 a.m.
We arrived. Actually, it was Roxy who told us where to get off since it was my first time riding a bus to Bogo (also John's). So, we just followed her lead. We had a short walk because the bus doesn’t go near Gaisano since it was headed to Cebu City.
While walking, we were joking and teasing each other. Of course, I fought back with my own jokes, but in the end, I lost because they kept teasing me non-stop!
By 9:45 a.m., we arrived at Bogo Plaza and first went to R&F to buy John’s fabric for his uniform. If I remember correctly, it cost over 800 pesos (150 pesos per meter).
Then, to spare ourselves from walking too far away, we decided to purchase our school supplies from Gaisano Mall, just in front of R&F.
It was crowded in the mall, of course, since other students, parents, and teachers were also purchasing school supplies because school will be starting soon.
I had my list on my phone so that I wouldn't mess up on what to purchase. My dad gave me 1,000 pesos, which covered my fare and lunch money. Therefore, I decided not to buy all the items on my list so that I would have money remaining to ridehome and eat lunch. HAHAHAHA!
I spent 458 pesos, not that bad, HAHAHAHA! The line was long, but good thing it only got longer after we had already lined up.
After purchasing school supplies, Roxy asked if we could go to Mr. DIY. We agreed because it was still early tohave lunch and I also wanted to checkout Mr. DIY in Bogo. When we went there, it was actually larger than the San Remigio branch and they had a lot of products too. But compared to the second floor, San Remigio's branch has a larger space than that of Bogo's.
Roxy just purchased a few ballpens as she loves Mr. DIY pens. We also walked around the ground floor, where I spotted some adorable stuff(but I didn't purchase them as they were pricey and I didn't have enough money).
🍗 11:40 a.m.
We went back to Gaisano to have lunch. We chose Jollibee and all three of us ordered the same meal: chicken fillet, which cost 109 pesos and came with drinks and fries. The place was full, but luckily, we found seats right away.
After lunch, we decided to go home as we had finished shopping. Roxy informed us that a bus would only arrive at 2 o'clock, so I suggested we just take a tricycle rather than waiting. As we were riding, Roxy suddenly mentioned that she would take John and me out to eat at Worthy. I was surprised and asked her not to as she could run out of money, but she insisted.
🥤12:55 p.m.
We reached Worthy and right away we ordered our beverages. Roxy got Fruit Ade, Cookies & Cream for John, and Matcha Bomb for me, all at just 39 pesos per item.
While we waited, we had some fun banter, it was honestly the longest talk I've had with my cousin John, HAHAHAHA! Upon the arrival of our orders, the teasing continued! I almost cried (jokingly) and blushed because they would always tease me about my crush! HAHAHAHA!
When I was done with my drink (I'm not a fast drinker but a quick eater, LOL), we headed home as it began to drizzle and it was nearly 3 p.m.
That was how our day went! It really was fun for me! As a person with strict parents and who is normally not allowed to go far from home, I'm so glad! I'm even more glad that I got to spend the day with my cousins, who are very close to my heart and whom I value the most! Here's a quote for today's blog: "Happiness is having crazy cousins to make life more fun."— Unknown
Thank you and see you in my next blogs! Good luck on your first day at school, fighting! 💪🤍
