Hello everyone, @lorene08 once again with a new blog to share.
Last April 15, after our recognition day, my cousin Roxy and I decided to go to San Remigio to hang out. Hmmm... let's just call it our "Cousin Date" HAHAHAHA.
Our initial plan was to leave for San Remigio at 1 PM, but because it was really hot, my cousin shifted it to 2 PM. But again, it got postponed to later since her mom also had some errands in San Remigio. So in order to save up on fare money, we decided to wait for her mom to prepare herself and just take the tricycle ride with her. We left their place around 4 PM.
The first stop we made was Prince Hypermart since I needed to purchase some items such as shampoo, conditioner, and milk. Once we purchased those, we proceeded directly to the counter area to pay.
(This was so random of me to take picture because I saw Bini's faces😭😭)
The next place we went to was Winco, which is a very tiny market selling school materials, household items, and other things. We went there because I was planning to dye and fixed my colored hair once again (lol HAHAHAHA). But I couldn't find the same brand that my friend used, so we ended up just leaving. Nevertheless, I bought a new wallet because my old one was like 2 or 3 years old.
Then, we attempted to look for the hair dye at Public Market in Poblacion. I did not see the same brand there as well, but I saw another brand that most people use for DIY hair dyeing. So, I thought of giving it a try and purchased three boxes.
Because it was already close to 5 PM and we were a little hungry, we decided to buy pizza at Alberto's (even though it wasn’t really part of our plan — we just planned to buy drinks and go to the beach). We divided the bills and ordered Cookies n' Cheese pizza. We bought the small one that is 115 pesos.
Then we proceeded to Worthy to buy drinks. I bought milktea and Roxy bought juice (I forgot the flavor HAHAHAHAHA). I also included a medium french fries.
Then, we proceeded to Mancor to eat our food and do some chit-chat. We also wanted to view the lovely sunset at Poblacion. When we were feeling extremely full, I asked her if she wanted to make some TikTok videos, and she agreed.
Then the sunset finally arrived. It was all worth waiting because it was incredibly beautiful and breathtaking . San Remigio's sunset never disappoints me. We each took turns capturing photos and took selfies together, too.
Since it was already late (my grandmother even called me😭), and it was almost 6 PM, we decided to head home.
I had a good time with my cousin. It was a special day for us both to mark because we had endured and made it to Grade 11.
"Sometimes the best memories are made in the simplest moments." - Unknown. For me, this quote is saying that we don't necessarily need grand or fancy things to be happy. Even small travels, casual conversations, and hanging out with people we love can already provide us with the best memories. My day with my cousin was simple, but it made me very happy and I will never forget it.
Thank you everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful summer ahead!! 🫶🏻
