Hello everyone! This is @lorene08 back again with another blog to share.
Last April 23, 2025, my mother sent me a message that she and my little sister were at Lapyahan. She instructed me to go and bring my closest friend, Ashley, with me. It was actually unplanned because she texted me at 3 PM. I immediately texted Ashley and asked her if she wanted to go. She asked permission from her mother if she could go with me, and fortunately, her mother let her come with me.
I didn't know what to wear (P.S. I have a lot of clothes in my room, lol 🥲), but I rushed because I didn't want it to get too late. I didn't want my mom and little sister to wait for too long, so I just wore a pair of brown shorts I just bought from a thrift store and a peach-colored top. I matched it with my slipper sandals.
My mom told me that we should just buy our own drinks from Worthy since they already had theirs. They also brought snacks and pizza along. I ordered a taro bomb, while Ashley ordered a caramel macchiato. All the drinks cost only 39 pesos, super affordable right?
After getting our drinks, we headed straight to Lapyahan, which was walking distance. But because it was still hot, we rode a tricycle. When we got there, there were few people. Some were singing, and others were swimming in the ocean. I could see right away that my mom and little sister were having a picnic. My mom invited us to eat some pizza — I don't know what type, but it had ham. She also provided us with two bags of chocolate-flavored popcorn (my favorite snack ever hehe). We sat on the mat she spread on the sand, and Ashley and I began eating.
Ashley took a photo of me. Being a self-proclaimed photomaniac or let's just say I love taking pictures or being photographed (with permission), I immediately pose HAHAHAHA.
We rested after eating. Then my three year old little sister, Jarrah, invited us to play with her in the sand. My mother brought a set of toys and sand tools. We played and had fun with her.
The sun began to set, and because sunsets in Lapyahan are always beautiful, I took a lot of pictures and selfies.
By 6 PM, my mom thought that they should go home already because Jarrah needed to rest. She was already teary-eyed and having a tantrum already because she did not want to go home yet HAHAHAHA. My mom gave me cash and said we should just have dinner there at Lapyahan. We hesitated at first, but we agreed.
We ordered at a barbecue stall. We had isaw (grilled chicken intestines) and pork barbecue. Each stick was only 10 pesos, and the size was good — they were pretty big for the price.
While waiting for food, I talked to Ashley about random things and about our plans for summer break (it's like we hadn't seen each other in a month even though we live in the same neighborhood HAHAHAHAHA😭).
(Thank you for the treat Mama🤍)
After dinner, we thought of returning home because it was already late and it would be more difficult for us to secure a ride. We were only two, and seriously, we were afraid. Fortunately, we were able to secure a ride by 7 PM, and fortunately again, was familiar with the driver — they knew each other.
That's for now. Thanks for reading! See you in my next blog!🤍
