Hello dear Hivers, Pearlyshelll here—sharing another piece of my life with you, one moment at a time. Before the busy school days take over again, I got the chance to spend some quality time with my three closest friends.
It was one of those simple days that turn into something special just because of the people you’re with. We laughed a lot, talked about anything and everything, and just enjoyed each other's company—because sometimes, that’s all you really need.
A night before this fun day came, me and one of my close friends decided to spend a chill night out together. We had been feeling a little bored during the vacation, so we thought why not do something fun and simple. We planned to meet at KTV Braders in Compostela to sing for just two hours. We both love singing—even if we're not professionals—and it felt good to just laugh, belt out old songs, and enjoy each other's company in that cozy little room. The place wasn’t too crowded, which made it more relaxing. We sang our hearts out, took funny videos, and shared snacks in between songs. It was a much-needed break from the usual routine, and we promised we’d do this more often.
After our singing session, we planned to go to the seafront in Compostela to eat dinner. We were both craving something warm and imagined sitting near the sea, talking about life, and enjoying the peaceful night air. But just when we stepped outside, it started raining. At first, we thought it would stop—but it didn’t. And sadly, we didn’t bring any umbrella. Walking all the way to the seafront while soaking wet didn’t sound like a great idea, so we decided to change our plan and go to Jollibee instead. It wasn’t what we originally hoped for, but honestly, it turned out just fine. We sat there, shared our favorite meals, and still talked about everything like we always do. The rain may have changed our direction, but it didn’t ruin the fun—we still ended the night with full stomachs and happy hearts.
KTV MOMENTS
That’s the photo of us here in KTV, and every time I look at it, I can’t help but smile. It may seem like just a simple picture, but behind it is a night full of laughter, silly off-key singing, and pure happiness. We weren’t trying to impress anyone—we were just being ourselves, letting loose, and enjoying each other's presence. The room was filled with our voices, our stories, and moments we’ll always remember. It’s little nights like this, with the people who make you feel at home, that really stay in your heart.
MY PICTURES HERE
While my friends were busy singing and having the time of their lives, I found myself quietly smiling in the corner, just watching them. I didn’t feel like grabbing the mic at that moment—I was just enjoying the vibe, the laughter, and the way everyone looked so happy. So I pulled out my phone and started taking some photos, not just for social media, but for memories I can look back on someday. I wanted to freeze those little moments—the unfiltered joy, the goofy faces, the way we forgot about everything else for a while. Sometimes, just capturing the happiness of people you love is enough to make your heart full.
THE BEAUTY OF THE PLACE
Before we even walked in, we already felt something nice about the place. The sky was this deep calming blue, and the clouds looked like they were slowly cuddling the evening. The lights outside were soft but glowing enough to make everything feel peaceful. There were string lights hanging above, gently moving with the wind, and it gave us this quiet, happy feeling—like the night was ready to welcome us. We stood there for a moment, not rushing to go in, just taking it all in. I even pulled out my phone to snap a quick photo, because something about that view felt too beautiful to ignore. It was simple, but it gave us that feeling that this night was going to be one to remember.
DINNER MOMENTS
After our fun time at KTV, we walked to Jollibee even though the rain was pouring. Only one of us had an umbrella, but the wind was so strong that it didn’t really help at all. Instead of struggling with it, we all agreed to just fold it and keep it in the bag. We were laughing the whole way because we were getting soaked, and people passing by probably thought we were a little crazy. When we arrived at Jollibee, we stayed outside first because we were so shy to go in—imagine four wet people looking like we just swam in the rain!
When we finally went inside, the guard told my friend to leave the umbrella outside, so she placed it near the door. The moment we sat down, the cold aircon made us all shiver, and we couldn’t stop laughing at how frozen we felt. But the food helped warm us up a bit, and we still had so much fun just talking and laughing at our little adventure. After we finished eating, we went back outside—only to find out that the umbrella was gone! HAHAHA! Someone had taken it, and we didn’t even know how to react. My friend had no choice but to go home without it, and we teased her the whole time. That night may have been wet and cold, but it was also full of laughter and memories we’ll talk about for a long time.
In the end, it wasn’t really about the place or the food—it was about the laughs we shared, the little things that didn’t go as planned, and how we still had the best time anyway. From singing our hearts out at KTV, getting soaked in the rain, freezing inside Jollibee, to losing that one poor umbrella, every part of it made the night more special. It’s funny how the moments we don’t plan for often become the ones we remember most. Looking back, I’m just really thankful to have friends who can turn even a rainy, messy night into something I’ll never forget. These are the memories that stick—the unfiltered, funny, and real ones.
So thank youuu, Hivers, for taking the time to read my little story! I hope it brought a smile to your face just like how that night brought so much joy to mine. Until next time—stay safe, stay happy, and keep collecting memories worth telling.
