Algo que me encantó de este semestre es que entramos un poco más en lo que son prácticas y utilizamos más productos para demostración, como fue en el caso de la materia Operaciones de Ingeniería de Alimentos II, recordando que estudio esta hermosa carrera.

Something I loved about this semester is that we went a little deeper into practical applications and used more products for demonstrations, as was the case in the Food Engineering Operations II course, reminding me that I am studying this wonderful degree.
Operaciones de Ingeniería de Alimentos II fue una materia un poco dificil pero muy interesante, dictada por uno de mis profesores favoritos de la carrera, mí querido Jerry Martínez.
Para esta evaluación, nos juntó en parejas para tocar el tema general que sería Pasteurización, mi pareja fue mi adorada amiga Dinalba, siempre que podemos hacemos equipo juntas y esta no fue la excepción, nos tocó la pasteurización de jugos y néctares de frutas.
Food Engineering Operations II was a somewhat difficult but very interesting course, taught by one of my favorite professors in the program, my dear Jerry Martínez.
For this assessment, he paired us up to discuss the general topic of Pasteurization. My partner was my beloved friend Dinalba. Whenever we can, we team up, and this was no exception. We were assigned the pasteurization of fruit juices and nectars.
Amé esta evaluación porque no solo aprendí mucho de los diferentes tipos de pasteurización, sino que me organicé muy bien con Dinalba, ella es una crack en cuanto a manualidades se trata, hizo nuestras láminas y quedaron preciosas, llenas de color y resaltando los puntos más importantes de nuestro tema.
También nos arreglamos para comprar 2 tipos de jugos y demostrar las diferencias entre la pasteurización de alta temperatura y demás.
Escogimos un jugo de naranja porque el profe Jerry nos dijo que le gustaba ese y uno de manzana para compartir con los compañeros, al final compartimos algo junto a comida que trajeron nuestros compañeros para compartir al finalizar, cosa que hizo que me gustara mucho más esta evaluación, deberíamos hacer más (amo comer).
I loved this evaluation because not only did I learn a lot about the different types of pasteurization, but I also worked very well with Dinalba. She is a whiz when it comes to crafts. She made our posters, and they turned out beautiful, full of color, and highlighting the most important points of our topic.
We also managed to buy two types of juices to demonstrate the differences between high-temperature pasteurization and other methods.
We chose orange juice because Professor Jerry told us he liked it, and apple juice to share with our classmates. In the end, we shared something along with food that our classmates brought to share, which made me like this evaluation even more. We should do this more often (I love to eat).

Nuestra exposición fue muy completa y el profesor nos felicitó, luego procedimos a escuchar a los demás compañeros y por último, pero la mejor parte, comer.
Me encanta hacer equipo con mi amiga Dinalba, esta es una de las pocas materias en la que compartimos porque ella se atrasó un poco con ella, mientras en las demás está mucho más avanzada, cuando terminemos la extrañaré mucho, ella es maravillosa.
Y también me encantó escuchar a mis amigos y defender sus puntos, lo hicieron muy bien.
Our presentation was very thorough, and the professor congratulated us. Then we listened to the other classmates, and finally, the best part: eating.
I love teaming up with my friend Dinalba. This is one of the few subjects we share because she fell a little behind in it, while in the others, she is much more advanced. When we finish, I will miss her a lot. She is wonderful.
I also loved listening to my friends and defending their points. They did very well.
