Buenos días, buenas tardes, buenas noches, comunidad de Hive Calisthenics. Estuve un poco inactivo la semana pasada con mis publicaciones debido a un dolor en el hombro y a ocupaciones relacionadas con mi club y la vida en general. Sin embargo, esta semana vengo con todo y tengo varias ideas que me motivan.
En primer lugar, quiero mencionar el evento que olvidé comentar la semana pasada y que realmente me emocionó: nuestra presentación de calistenia. Los clubes deportivos Leveling Up, Fortis Workout, Without Limits, y Olympus Calistenia, se unieron bajo la comunidad de Hive Calisthenics el sábado para exhibir el deporte que amamos, con el nombre "Street Workout a través de Nuevas Tecnologías". Durante la charla, @dimeilaz habló sobre la plataforma que nos brinda apoyo, aunque no de manera directa: Hive. Nuestro amigo, líder y excelente comunicador, @hecatonquirox, también participó. La experiencia de Ilaz en Hive tiene mucho que enseñarnos para mejorar en esta plataforma descentralizada en la que participamos. A veces, el tema puede volverse complejo debido a la cantidad de detalles que debemos tener en cuenta, pero creo que Ilaz sabe comunicarlo muy bien, ya sea por su habilidad para explicar o simplemente por el amor que siente por este entorno. ¡Es un tipo genial! Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, Hive Calisthenics community. I was a little inactive last week with my publications due to a sore shoulder and occupations related to my club and life in general. However, this week I am coming full force and have several ideas that motivate me.
First, I want to mention the event I forgot to comment on last week that really got me excited: our calisthenics presentation. The sports clubs Leveling Up, Fortis Workout, Without Limits, y Olympus Calisthenics, came together under the Hive Calisthenics community on Saturday to showcase the sport we love, under the name "Street Workout through New Technologies". During the talk, @dimeilaz spoke about the platform that supports us, though not directly. Our friend, leader and excellent communicator, @hecatonquirox, also participated. Ilaz's experience in Hive has a lot to teach us to improve in this decentralized platform in which we participate. Sometimes, the topic can become complex due to the amount of details we have to take into account, but I think Ilaz knows how to communicate it very well, either because of his ability to explain or simply because of the love he has for this environment. He's a great guy! Hopefully he will be back here soon.
Y ahora, hablemos de Brandon. Realmente pienso que Brando está un poco loco (en el buen sentido). Sin embargo, esa locura es lo que nos permite lograr cosas increíbles y nos anima a creer que podemos lograrlo. Cito a Ilaz en la conferencia del jueves: "¿Qué tan loco tienes que estar para querer cambiar el mundo?". Las explicaciones y definiciones de Brandon fueron excelentes. Su conocimiento en calistenia es evidente, y me sentí muy bien escuchándolo hablar sobre la comunidad de Hive Calisthenics. Aunque ya sabía la mayoría de las cosas, como líder, nunca está de más escuchar sobre el proyecto en el que estamos invirtiendo tanto.
La presentación en sí fue una experiencia intensa. Los momentos previos fueron los peores; estaba muy nervioso. Pensé que temblaría al hacer el ejercicio que me tocaba, pero por suerte pude controlarme. Aunque no era mi primera presentación, sí fue la primera con Hive Calisthenics, y eso tenía un significado especial para mí. Respiré, confié en mi cuerpo y en mis compañeros, y gracias a Dios, todo salió bien. Hubo algunos percances menores, pero son detalles que podemos mejorar. Fue increíble sentir la emoción y el compañerismo en el aire mientras todos los clubes se esforzaban, gritaban y se apoyaban mutuamente. Realmente te hace sentir vivo.

And now, let's talk about Brandon. I really think Brando is a little crazy (in a good way). However, that craziness is what allows us to achieve amazing things and encourages us to believe that we can do it. I quote Ilaz from Thursday's lecture, "How crazy do you have to be to want to change the world?". Brandon's explanations and definitions were excellent. His knowledge of calisthenics is evident, and I felt great listening to him talk about the Hive Calisthenics community. Although I already knew most things, as a leader, it never hurts to hear about the project we are so invested in.
The presentation itself was an intense experience. The moments leading up to it were the worst; I was very nervous. I thought I would tremble when I did the exercise I was supposed to do, but luckily I was able to control myself. Although it was not my first presentation, it was my first with Hive Calisthenics, and that had a special meaning for me. I breathed, I trusted my body and my teammates, and thank God, everything went well. There were a few minor mishaps, but those are details we can improve on. It was amazing to feel the excitement and camaraderie in the air as all the clubs were pushing, shouting and supporting each other. It really makes you feel alive.
Para terminar solo quiero agradecer a todos. Los aprecio mucho. Esta experiencia fue increíble, y mi corazón sigue acelerado. Si esto es lo que significa Hive Calisthenics, creo que estamos en el camino correcto y llegaremos lejos. In closing I just want to thank everyone. I appreciate you all very much. This experience was amazing, and my heart is still racing.
