Rev 3:1-3
- AND TO the angel (messenger) of the assembly (church) in Sardis write: These are the words of Him Who has the seven Spirits of God the sevenfold Holy Spirit] and the seven stars: I know your record and what you are doing; you are supposed to be alive, but [in reality] you are dead.
- Rouse yourselves and keep awake, and strengthen and invigorate what remains and is on the point of dying; for I have not found a thing that you have done [any work of yours] meeting the requirements of My God or perfect in His sight.

In everything ones do in life there must be a reward, without reward all we do or labour is in vain.
Just as there is a reward in our daily lifes work,there is also a reward in doing the things of God.
So as a Christian you should always remember that in this Christian rest there is a reward ahead of us, which is external life (everlasting life).
We should always be careful while on this journey never to loose or end up not getting rewarded, then all your works here on earth will be totally in vain.
Every commitment and sacrifice to the kingdom is not only remembered,but rewarded, knowing this you should engage yourself in doing the things of God more cause one day you will be rewarded.
God help us all as we do according to his words. Amen
