Today we must reflect on these questions and review ourselves to find the cause
One of those who wondered about such a situation was Job when he went through the most difficult moments of his life, he wondered the following:
Job 21: 7-13
Why do the wicked live,
And grow old, and still grow in riches?
8 His offspring grow strong in his sight,
And their shoots are before your eyes.
9 Their houses are safe from fear,
Nor does the scourge of God come upon them.
10 His bulls beget, and they do not fail;
Stop your cows, and don't spoil your calf.
11 Their little ones go out like a flock,
And their children are jumping.
12 To the sound of the tambourine and the zither they leap,
And they rejoice to the sound of the flute.
13 They spend their days in prosperity,
And in peace they go down to Sheol.
(RVR1960)
In this sense we look at Job claiming an opportunity to be heard to refute the simplified doctrine of the retribution of his friends and reaffirm his complaint about the calamity affecting the just and the unjust, a truth that history confirms since sometimes the unbeliever it thrives throughout life, while the believer knows only longing. Here the attention shifts from the case of Job to the larger subject of the sufferings of the believer. Thus Job questions the prevailing theological opinion in his day and today we hear the same complaint even though times change.
In this vein, the Christian has lived his life complaining about such a statement, but today I want us to reflect on what the proverb book establishes in its verse 10: 4
Proverbs 10: 4
The careless hand makes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich
(RVR1960)
Ambition without care, without measure always leads people to end up in poverty. God wants us to do everything with diligence and excellence.
This verse shows us a clear teaching about industriousness versus indolence: the first brings wealth, the second, poverty, which is important to deepen because if God rewards something, it is the will and diligence of a person.
In this sense, it is important that we know that many Christians do not advance, they do not prosper, they do not achieve anything with their lives because the number 1 reason is because they are not diligent people because those who do not dare to work become poor, those who work hard become rich, so you must be diligently productive and you must be an example in your home of industriousness of dedication of honest productivity effort.
In fact, the bible says that the man who does not provide for his home is worse than an ungodly man and the Christian has to have initiative and be diligent because we have a raw material because God for each process gives us a potential so that tribulation does not sink.
God blesses the instruction, the constancy and the permanent diligence in his children and if we want to prosper, we must first begin by honoring that raw material that God has given us so that we can be proactive, stable and firm in what we have believed, acting and looking for direction to undertake something have your approval.
