John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
The main purpose and ministry of the Holy Spirit is to comfort. Apart from His comforting attributes in times of difficulties, the third person of Trinity makes us comfortable. He's here to make life comfortable to live, the issues of life notwithstanding. He can connect us to the right people, right job, right place to go,etc. There's no confusion or mistake in a life filled with the Holy Spirit. Do you have Him?
A comforter abides. This is the nature of the Holy Spirit: He abide with us. The storms can't take Him away. He's here to stay and lead us into eternity in Christ. Ask for the infilling of the Holy Spirit today, life is worth living when He's in charge.
The only thing that can put Him out is sin. Make a decision not to grief Him.
