According to my experience as a young man, I think it is convenient to confess that when for some circumstances you surround yourself with young people who are not Christian, you have to endure the ridicule and rejection of some of them, because they do not admit that our Christian behavior is not like the from them. So, to avoid confrontation with the group, you have to get away from them and experience their rejection and contempt. All of this usually occurs with my classmates. In part, this situation leads you to experience loneliness. You feel like a stranger outside the group, and sometimes you feel that God's company is not with you.
If as a young person you experience what I have lived, it is good to remember God's promises regarding the issue of loneliness in the youth stage.
Even if my father and mother left me,
Yet Jehovah will gather me.
Psalms 27:10 King James Version (RVR1960)

One of the promises that gives me strength to overcome moments of loneliness is exactly this Psalm 27:10. God promises that even if you don't have the warmth of a father and mother, God is in charge of covering us and giving them the special protection that your parents can no longer give you. God will still protect young people who feel lonely.
Another promise of God that shapes us in strong loneliness is the following psalm:
5 Father of orphans and defender of widows
it is God in his holy dwelling.
6 God makes the homeless to live in a family;
bring the captives out to prosperity;
but the rebels inhabit dry land.
Psalms 68: 5-6 King James Version (KJV 1995)
In this great promise we have that "God makes the homeless to live in a family." It is interesting to know that even though we are apparently alone, God helps us to live as a family. For this reason, I like to value the Christian family greatly. When we meet in the church, I feel a beautiful peace and a joy to share with the young people of the church. God makes you live in a beautiful Christian family.
Therefore, teenage friend, do not feel alone, because God is with us. Believe his word and you will dwell in trust in the arms of the Lord.
